On page 23, the confusing part is why does the mother have to lie about her being a midwife. Is it illegal? The mother lies a lot to government officials.

Lynda | 4 comments i thought the beginning of “A child called It” was confusing, From page 3-14, i think it starts off from the ending and then continues with the beginning of the story which i didnt understand till i got further into the book.

Eric | 5 comments the confusing part of my book "Dear Martin" is that it goes from the teen point of view of his story to what the author is writing. it throws me off because i thought that how the book goes but it changed out of no where.

He doesn't know that he is fated to fight him though as he is only 9, so he only thinks it's a dream. While his aunt knows the real truth about his future.

Joana Pineda | 2 comments The confusing part in "milk and honey" is kinda everything. the person who wrote this book did they just make everything up or did they experience it. For example (46)"I struggle so deeply to understand how someone can pour their entire soul blood and energy into someone without wanting anything in return."

John | 2 comments The confusing part of my book 'The Italian lover' is that a character named woody went from loving to mean from pg's 9-13 that's when his personality changed.I thought woody was a good caring guy but it threw me off when he suddenly became aggressive.

The wino was a man in the beginning of the story that was laying on the court drunk and held a blade to the kids face. I'm confused on why he's the coach.

Julian | 5 comments well, this book isn't really confusing because its really easy to read and very understandable , but one thing that can be confusing about this book was maybe all the quotes that are on the side of the book, this book hasn't really been confusing to me quite yet. pages 118-119

Martin Arellano | 2 comments In "Monster" by Walter Dean Myers it was confusing " i thought you're supposed to be innocent until you're proven guilty" pg 79.
the guy is trying to convince himself that hes innocent when hes not. maybe he is innocent which i didn't understand because he is sure that hes innocent.

The most confusing part of the beginning of the book is the father pulls his kids out of school and does not have birth certificates for them(29). I thought it was just the mother's distrust for the government.

It also stated that the parents are Mormons. I wonder if Mormons are like these parents.

Julian | 5 comments I think one of the confusing things about the beginning of the book is how he introduces himself and how he goes straight int detail what these habits are about , page 7 is a layout of all the habits , i would've thought it would start with a regular intro paragraph .

She talked about things that she knew was already coming up, nothing was ever new to her. On the page, 4 she states, “ I am an outcast. “ I just wondered what’s wrong with her and why she feels like that.

Deja | 2 comments The most confusing thing about the book I was reading was understanding who is narrating. In the book that I’m reading all main characters in the story play narrator and express their thoughts and feelings, while I grew to like that part of the book it did get confusing at times.
