I am reading Tara Westover's Educated memoir. I find it interesting that her mother does not know her daughter's birthdate (20). Basically she does not have her daughter's birth certificate.

Lynda | 4 comments “A child called It” has been such a roller coaster ride, i dont understand how a mother can love there children and then one day decide to hate them and treat them as if they dont even exist, with beating and violence its so sad. I cant imagine having children and treating even one of them bad or for me i couldnt even imagine yelling at them thats how precious a child is to me, and to see someone has stabbed there child, not feed or let them drink water, having them sleep in the garage, having them wish they were never born ...

Eric | 5 comments the book i'm reading is called "Dear Martin", this book is about a black teen who was helping a friend who got drunk and wanted to drive but the teen didn't allow her to drive so he picked her up to put her in the back seat when a cop pulled up and arrested him because he believed he was trying to kidnapped her.even though the teen was telling the truth about what he was doing the cop didn't allow him to be freed. the cop stated that since he's 17 years of age he is considered an adult and wouldn't be freed no matter what. a friend mom which is a attorney came to talk to the cop about what he's doing and that allowed the teen to be freed.

I am barely on the second page because I decided to change my book but so far its interesting to me how the author put a map in the beginning of the book. I wonder if that image is going to be useful later on in the book.

What i found interesting was in page 10, the main character was playing basketball but then saw a homeless man laying on the and told him to get off but all the guy kept doing was keep on singing. It was almost like he was trying to tell the kid something but he wasn't sure what it was. the homeless man held a blade to his face and grind but sang the song again then walked away.
