the book i'm reading is called "Dear Martin", this book is about a black teen who was helping a friend who got drunk and wanted to drive but the teen didn't allow her to drive so he picked her up to put her in the back seat when a cop pulled up and arrested him because he believed he was trying to kidnapped her.even though the teen was telling the truth about what he was doing the cop didn't allow him to be freed. the cop stated that since he's 17 years of age he is considered an adult and wouldn't be freed no matter what. a friend mom which is a attorney came to talk to the cop about what he's doing and that allowed the teen to be freed.

The book I read is, “Speak the graphic novel” an interesting quote from the book is, “my throat squeezes shut, like two hands are wrapped around my windpipe.” It reminds me of when I get nervous about anything I’m scared to do and I was in the same exact position.
