Mia | 1 comments Hey lovelies 🌞 I’m looking for some beta-readers for my novel. (100k words)
I'd just like to get an idea of: πŸ’‘
πŸŒ€ What you do/don't like
πŸŒ€ What resonates/confuses you
πŸŒ€ What I should add/remove
πŸŒ€ What characters you understood or thought need more depth
πŸŒ€ Where a certain emotion was invoked or where interest was lacking
πŸŒ€ What's right/wrong with the plot/chapters/moments
πŸŒ€ Any other notes/comments you'd like to make

Here's a bit of a β€˜synopsis’: πŸ“˜
The story’s divided between two sisters, Rose (oldest) and Arabella. Rose was crowned as a local hero before she was old enough to reach the top of a door, going through many tragedies as she journeys on in her years with scrutinizing eyes, yet is determined to not let it defeat her by keeping up with her admired persona and attracting many friends and lovers, until she dies suddenly at 19.
Arabella, who was always prudent and fascinated by her charismatic older sister, doesn’t accept the town’s glamorisation of her death or the slowing pace in which the case is being solved, still undetermined as suicide or homicide. Eager, she ventures out, tracking and trailing over two towns, cracking at the fine, smooth glass of Rose’s life or so she always saw it.
As Arabella scraps around the shards, she meets Rose’s strange friends, varied lovers and figures out the deception that lies in her very own family. This story shows how everything can happen so fast and that you can’t trust anybody just because they smile, not even the person telling you the story.

Thank you so much,
Mia 🌺

Craig T | 1 comments Hi - would be happy to read it, and give you some thoughts - if you can tell me what it's like, and what category it sits in. ie) Something which I might know about and like to read!
Who are your favourite authors - and does that give a clue to your work?

Craig
