Legend by Marie Lu as well as Delirium by Lauren Oliver.

Noted! Thank you so much guys! ❤

Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi and Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi

these two books are completely different in writing, narrative, and settingg aspects but they are both mindblowingly beautiful and just. great.

Sanctum by Sarah fine

The Uglies Series, hands down.

The Hunger Games Series, definitely. So original, unlike anything I've ever read.

I'm still going to try to read more dystopian books.

The Giver

I want to read the Maze Runner! I read the Hunger Games, but it wasn't my favorite. I read the Matched Trilogy and it was OK

The Maze Runner was great! I thought it had a lot of character and kept you interested throughout its extent.

Divergent is NOT my favorite dystopian YA. Aside from Legend, it's probably my least favorite.

I loooove The Maze Runner (of course) The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner
Incarceron (THIS IS AN AMAZING SERIES THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT AND IT'S REALLY SAD) Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) by Catherine Fisher
And The Knife of Never Letting Go The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness

Delirium was awesome
Beautiful creatures was awesome too

The maze runner and the hunger games. Hated the ending of TMR but a great series

The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey by Rick Yancey

The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins) through and through.

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi!! I fell in love!!

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi

Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu

If you liked the Divergent trilogy, you should check this one out. Legend is amazing. Marie Lu created a wonderful (by wonderful I mean wonderful to read about, not be in) and two wonderful characters that clash in intense action sequences and even more intense romance bits. Strongly recommend it .

Dark Life (Dark Life, #1) by Kat Falls

Dark Life by Kat Falls is also very, very good. It's very different from all other dystopians because it's about life underwater. I really liked it because of the concept and world-building, the plot and writing is a bit on the meh side.

Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1) by Tahereh Mafi

Shatter Me has an interesting concept but the writing is so blatantly horrible that I couldn't even finish it. It is very confusing and lacks that thing that makes you wanna read more.

Gone (Gone, #1) by Michael Grant

Gone was also interesting in theory. It was very boring to read and one of the main characters (the protagonist's best friend, if I'm not mistaken) felt like a desperate attempt at being quirky and funny, and it failed miserably.

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

If you're interested in the Fairy tale spin-off kind of books, The Lunar Chronicles (Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Winter) are based off of fairy tale princesses, but in a dystopian future. I haven't got around to those yet, but I've heard they are good.

Hope this helped.

Ally Condie wrote a dystopian trilogy (Matched, Crossed & Reached) I really enjoyed it.

The Hungergames are definitely a very exciting trilogy.

I am going to read Gemma Malley's trilogy. When I was a kiddo I did not know the word "Dystopia" or that it Gemma actually wrote two more books. The book is named "The Declaration" for those who are interested :)

Allison Perron The Maze Runner series, by James Dashner
By far my favorite, even though I've actually read The Hunger Games first

Slated by Terri Teri is really goodr

Hunger Games

The Unwind series is amazing. It's about a future where unwanted teenagers get "unwound"-cut into pieces so their organs can be used as transplants.

I don't know if the Chaos Walking (The Knife of Never Letting Go) trilogy counts as dystopian, but it's really good. It's about people colonizing a new planet where everyone can hear each other's thoughts, but the leaders are corrupt and they need to overthrow them.

I also love the Lunar Chronicles (Cinder, Scarlet, Cress).

Delirium, Matched, and Legend are good stories if you like romance, though the world-building isn't that great.

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneu is like the hunger games on steriods. :)

I agree with Annika, #Josh, and Swati on good books. I would also suggest the novel Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige and The Giver by Louis Lowry. Both of these books stand as novels on their own but do have sequels (or prequel in Dorothy Must Die's case)that take place in the same time with different characters.

Wither is a great book that I enjoyed as well as the The Testing

The Giver quartet, through and through. I love those books so much, they're almost magical. I feel like I would be super repetitive by saying the Hunger Games, but it really is an awesome series and worth all the the hype it gets!

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Legend by Marie Lu.

I've only read The Hunger Games trilogy, but I've heard really good this about Delirium, Shatter Me, Legend and The Lunar Chronicles. I'm really looking forward to read more dystopian books

Just basing this off of my physical bookshelf, there's Legend, The Darkest Minds, The 5th Wave, Cinder, The Young World (which I don't recommend but I kind of have to mention it because I won it on a giveaway), The Maze Runner (which isn't too great), Dark Life, All Our Yesterdays, The Bar Code Tattoo (which is a complete and utter mess of a book), The City of Ember, Uglies, How I Live Now, etc.

Then there are books I haven't read that might be dystopian, I'm not sure. The Compound, The War of the Worlds, After the End, Not a Drop to Drink.

And I shouldn't even have to mention The Hunger Games or The Giver.
