Do you have somebody in your life that loves reading as much as you do? Are they a friend or a family member? Do they enjoy the same genres as you do?

Both my mum and my best friend love to read, but my mum and I read pretty much the same Genres (I got my love of Biographies from her!) but my best friend loves the super lovey dovey Romance novels, which I'm not really into (I used to though!).

No matter what we are reading, I love talking about books with them and hearing about how much they loved their latest read and hear the emotion in their voice as they talk about them. I've also recently started reserving books for my mum at her local library for her to pick up as a little surprise for her (I don't tell her what they are) and so far, she's loved them all!

Jemma (captainjemima) | 61 comments I haven't found someone who likes the same books or genres as me, but one friend of mine will talk about books for ages and she inspired me to start a "Read Anything" book club (read whatever you want and come along to recommend it or rant about it). So I'm sort of getting a book fix :)

Nancy RN | 7 comments I want to start finding people to buddy read with. Closest I have right now is 5 “live” book clubs here in my area that I read along with every month - and manage to make most of the book club meetings.
