I tell ya, trying to get folks to read your stories is HARD.
I just cracked my knuckles a couple of moments ago, typing away in the hopes that someone will say "let's check out this guy's latest."
I wonder if the folks who wrote "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "The Hunger Games" had to work this hard?
A lot of writers here have found some success doing what they do, and man, I wish I could join their ranks. I've been writing stories since I was 8 years old, which (as I cringe thinking about it) was nearly 40 years ago. I always wanted to entertain folks, and maybe...just maybe...make 'em think a little. For my 3rd book, I was hoping to not only take another step towards my dream, but maybe affect a little change in the way folks think as well.
(If I can be honest, I also hoped to be one of those overnight success stories, but then I woke up and said "um, ya gotta work for that.")
Anywho...
If I could humbly mention to you, I'd appreciate if you check out my work. You might be surprised, offended, entertained, or a combination of all three. Today and tomorrow, it won't even cost you a penny (besides what you spend on your internet).
i appreciate everyone who are willing to help me take that next step.
Crud!
Forgot the synopsis! Before I go, here is the CliffNotes version:
1. It's the middle of the 21st Century, there are no governments. 2. Main character is the video game and book publisher king, he's rich, and a proud gay man. 3. He discovers something from his past that forces him to go home to face his bigoted, bitter dad, who has a knack for evil insults. 4. They are kidnapped. 5. One of them ain't gonna make it. 6. And of course, all isn't as it seems.

Ok, now I'll say thank you...:)
