I'm looking for something a little different to read so I'll give it a try. I'm definitely not shy about giving my opinion but I'm very aware that that's all it is . . . my opinion.

Like the thousands of other authors here on Goodreads, I am reaching for a dream. I've been chasing this dreams for nearly 4 decades (god it hurts to actually say that!) wanting to say to people that i write for a living, and am doing OK. I've written a total of 3 books, and while I probably could only afford a steak dinner from what I've earned from them, I am proud of them all.
As you know, reviews are everything in this business, so I would like to ask the good people here at GR to check out my latest creation, "A Beginning, No Middle, and An End." I won't lie to you, it has some controversial material in it (and it isn't for the easily offended). I won't "copy and paste" ya; instead I'll give you the to the point version:
1. It's the middle of the 21st Century, there are no governments.
2. Main character is the video game and book publisher king, he's rich, and a proud gay man.
3. He discovers something from his past that forces him to go home to face his bigoted, bitter dad, who has a knack for evil insults.
4. They are kidnapped.
5. One of them ain't gonna make it.
6. And of course, all isn't as it seems.
So I am asking for folks to pick up a copy (it is free today and tomorrow on Amazon; once the KDP promo ends, you can contact me directly and I'll send you either a pdf or the mobi file), check it out (it's a quick read) and post a review...good, bad, or indifferent. It will help me take another small step to me answering that question with a smile on my face...
