SOLVED. Paranormal Shifters and Demons, female heroine, Draid Kissed? With Black Panther as Hero. [s]

I read this book a couple of years ago maybe and think it may have been the start or part of a series.
It started with a little girl the heroine surviving a plague / infection caused by creatures. She became DRAID KISSED ?? (can't remember the spelling obviously lol) and should have been an outcast as she could take peoples energy, but she hid it and became a member of and warrior group fighting the creatures and demons.
They travel to another castle/mansion and a group of people/Shifter, one is a panther (the hero) he can alter his size in shifted form. The others are all different types of shifter. They are hunting the demons who are killing hikers? or turning them into mindless creature? Lots happen ( arrrh no spoilers ) it ends in an epic battle with demons in the woods and a hole to hell opening up.
If anyone could help I would be very grateful it's driving me nuts. I have been through lists and lists to try and even jog my memory with no joy.
