Silver Snow (SilverSnow) | 75 comments I saw some groups have closed ... so let's start a new one ... I read and write paranormal romance and working with the same genre writers would be awesome ...
a push is what we all need ... knowing that someone is actually reading our amateur attempts at writing would work wonders ... anyone who wants to join the group can post reply here ...

Fanny Savage (fannyleesavage) | 15 comments Hi! I have just finished my own paranormal romance (in the final stages of editing...ugh..)and have started the second book in the series. I would love to be a part of a group of new writers willing to act as a critique/beta readers, this is something I have been searching for and would love to read and add my input to a fellow writer. Another forum I joined pointed me to goodreads for betas and partners, but so far, what I have found are closed or inactive topics.

Meka James | 11 comments I'm open to trying out to see if we can be a fit. I'm hoping to find a long term critter partner. My current book is still a WIP but I like getting feedback as I go on pacing and such to make sure everything is on track. I'll PM my email address to whoever is interested.

Bella Ellwood-Clayton (drbella) | 31 comments Hi guys,
Can someone read my new novel and provide feedback?
CAMERA READY, a romantic comedy for ‘new adults’ or the younger adult reader (80,000 words).
There are a lot of rules to follow when you're an extra. Do what the wrangler tells you. Don't look at the camera. Don't talk to the actors. But Kit Kavanagh is sick of being overlooked when she knows she has real talent. Having been booked on a horror film starring former "it" couple Josh Clement and Lana Sanders, Kit has to figure out her life plan, fast. With mounting family pressure to throw away her own dreams and start following theirs, and a bit of white collar "borrowing" to make ends meet, she sets a plan in motion. What if, rather than adhering to all the rules on set that keep her buried in the background, she breaks them? By the end of the summer Kit would either get fired or get noticed. Still smarting from a broken heart, the only attention she’s after is the director’s, but what happens when Josh Clement starts noticing her daredevil antics on set? Kit feels like her personal and professional lives could finally take off—or else flame out in a very big way…
I am a sexual anthropologist who holds a Ph.D., with a thesis on women's sexuality. I have written a non-fiction book, and write for major newspapers and magazines, blog for the Huffington Post, and give public talks.

Hi there Cat,
I tried to email you but it's not going through, I don't know why. It doesn't hurt to have a few different opinions. I've never beta read before but I would like to give it a try. It would help me to start with only a few chapters rather than an entire manuscript all at once. I read a ridiculous amount and have, in the past year, written two manuscripts of my own. I could give you an honest overall opinion and possibly a tip or two. If your interest you can go ahead and send the chapters in word or contact me by email. debbie_feltner@yahoo.com

I hope to hear from you.

Shah Wharton (shahw1) | 20 comments Hello authors. I'm in need of a romance critter partner, preferably novella/shorts, as that's what I'm working on, but novels too.

I'm just finishing up a romantic suspense novella (less than 30k), which could use fresh eyes now. Please let me know if this interests you at:

shahwharton@gmail.com

Thanks for reading. X
