So glad the pregnancy is going well! Despite some kicks to your internal organs! lol. It will be great to see you around here a bit more and perhaps a few good books will distract you from the general uncomfortableness of being 7 months pregnant ;)
Lovely to see you and so exciting about young Jack. Very glad all is well. Keep us posted on progress 😘
Great to hear from you, and glad your pregnancy is going well! That last month is really uncomfortable - read a few good books to keep your mind off it, or else read to your baby and maybe get a head start on turning him into a reader :)
How wonderful to hear from you Lisa! What an exciting time in your life. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.

It's so great to hear from you. Perhaps Jack will be a dancer or a musician since instead of your dancing rocking him to sleep, the music gets him going!
Welcome back, Lisa to both of you! I'm glad everything is progressing so well with your pregnancy. November will be here before you know it.

There's been so much going on in my life that I was forced to take a hiatus with book groups for a bit, and only updated my reading status and participated in a summer reading challenge.
Now, things are calming down a tiny bit and I feel I can keep up with the groups. I can't guarantee I'll be here all the time, especially when November comes around, but I'm certainly going to try.
To update, I'm still pregnant! It's been 30 weeks now, and I've got 10 more to go (I'm counting down the days!).
My little bun-in-the-oven is going to be a little boy and we're going to call him Jack Gregory Spiro. He's already a pretty active little guy! He kicks around a lot, especially when I'm teaching my ballroom dance lessons (he seems to like cha cha, tango, and swing music). He also likes to kick the cat when she's resting her head on my baby bump (it's hilarious: her head keeps on getting jostled by his movements and she doesn't even open her eyes to acknowledge it).
Dave and I recently spent a weekend painting the baby room. It is now a happy light green. We're going to furnish the room with white furniture and we'll have some yellow accents in there as well.
I've reached that point in the pregnancy where I can't wait to reach the end! I'm so looking forward to being able to get out of bed without any trouble, and sitting down/standing up without making a groaning noise. Most of all, however, I can't wait to meet Jack in person! Dave's getting pretty excited too. We keep talking about what it's going to be like to have him here, and trying to picture ourselves as parents.
Anyway, just thought I'd share what's going on with this pregnancy. I'm feeling pretty good and positive about it now, especially when Jack is constantly reassuring me that he is fine and healthy. Looking forward to November!
