I heard about this book on a comedy podcast called Will You Accept This Rose? The hosts brother suggested the book about a computer programmer who's company goes public or something like that and gets a cash windfall but still finds himself struggling to establish a relationship. The host's brother called it The Unknowables but that doesn't come up on Goodreads or Amazon. Unfortunately I have no idea how old it is.

Could it be The Unknowns by Gabriel Roth? It's about a millionaire computer programmer who has a girlfriend for the first time, and it has a similar title.
