Or perhaps not… Perhaps none of Norwegian paperbacks fit this description. It's half a centimeter higher than your stand English-language MMP..
Reconsidering, yes. Sorry about that!
No worries; the whole paperback/mass market paperback thing is beyond me. I'm just glad we don't have to sort trade paperbacks as well.
In the U.S. some publishers (for some reason) put out books that are slightly taller and slightly wider than the previous mass-market paperbacks, but I think they are still considered MMPB. (Also MMPBs I have brought back from U.K. and Australia are slightly larger as well.)
From what I've read online, it also has to do with paper quality and price point--? Simpler to just call 'em all paperbacks, but then I'm lazy. :-)
