Somehow we missed Mark Greaney, author of the Gray Man series and the one who's picked up writing the Clancy universe.

Once you get through his Gray man series he's also taken over some of the Tom Clancy books since Mr. Clancy's passing.

I always had a hard time with Clancy's style of writing. I enjoyed Without Remorse but struggled in a lot of the Jack Ryan books. There good but seemed drawn out.
