SOLVED: Romance: Woman unwittingly starts working at zoo, falls for colleague [s]

This contains spoilers, because I think it is important who the heroine falls in love with (if you can spoil a book you don't remember the name of or the author).

I read this book about ten years ago, I remember it was a paperback with a blue cover. I think it is placed in Britain.

The story was about a woman who worked at a bank and I think she got fired. There was a bit about her working at that bank only to stick it to some girl who mutilated her princess leia doll.
She starts reluctantly to work at a zoo where she takes care of a donkey and falls for the guy who takes care of the penguins, who is a collector of star wars dolls... I think.

I remember that I thought it was really funny and I would like to read it again. Plus it's driving me crazy that I cannot find it. Thanks for any help you can give me in advance.
