;_; Please tell me you don't have yet another player missing...

I captain various games regularly and I've never had to send out so many reminders as I have had to do in this round of this game.
Looks like this will be the final week of this game after all, since Team 2 made it extra suspenseful by discovering a last minute bonus point they hadn't claimed yet, allowing them to move up to spot 101. :D
Nevertheless, as they say - It ain't over 'til it's over! You never know what unexpected obstacles might arise at the last second - especially since this round appears to have attracted more of them than usual... ;)

Mary and BC,
As I have done various challenges, the issue I find is when players overcommit to different challenges. You will see that many player are in SS and in other groups have challenges like Bingo or time sensitive challenges. They forget which group is due when and they get overwhelmed the week when one book won’t work for all challenges and they actually have to read 3-4 different books
People need to just ask themselves questions about their capabilities before signing up

Have you pm’d said player?
My aunt in Alaska has weather issues (earthquake) and some areas near me in Dallas have had tornadoes today. We are currently under Tornado watch and just showed our kids where to take cover. So make sure they aren’t in bad weather areas. I am so I won’t be surprised if I lose WiFi shortly

I agree with you 100% on that. If you're signing up for a team challenge, especially one where other team members can't pick up the slack for a player who can't keep up, it's a commitment and should be treated as such. There's always the option of dropping out if it really gets too much which won't harm the team. At the very least, players need to communicate, let the team know if they won't be making a deadline etc, that's only common courtesy. It's been extreme this round.
Both team 7 and 8 are missing a player this week, neither of whom have been in contact with their teams, so we have two teams sitting out this (probably) final roll of the game. :(

It's not so annoying this week because it's the last week and we weren't going to catch up to the lead team anyway. But still...,

I’m sorry as I know it has to be so frustrating

I totally get that some people have multiple challenges that have different time deadlines, etc. (I do that myself.) But if you get overwhelmed all you have to do is to drop a note saying, "Sorry, but I have to drop out."
It's common courtesy, and players have done this in the past (and at least one player did it this time around). It's the lack of communication that's so frustrating.

I totally agree. It was pretty frustrating for our team this time because we had issues happen with a few team members. I've been in this challenge a few times and never had anything happen to this extent. I wanted to say in my PM to them (but didn't, of course), can you just respond? Lol

;_; Please tell me ..."
Thanks for being so understanding with my bugging you, Denise. I really appreciate all your help.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner!
Team 2 "Double the Pleasure ~ Double the Fun" have finished all their books for spot 101 on time and take the victory for this round. Congrats on the win!
Thank you everyone for playing! We've had a few troubles this round (some teams more than others), but I hope you all nevertheless had fun. :)
