SOLVED. Mystery/Thriller - Woman with amnesia released from prison after serving sentence for crime [s]

A woman returns back to suburban life after serving sentence for murder. She has amnesia of the actual crime. I think there's a scene with a birthday party where her memory starts to come back, and I think her husband was having an affair with a neighbor.

I probably read it prior to 2012. I remember disliking it.

Unfortunately, it's not Life Sentences.

I don't remember the cover at all. It was not part of a series. It took place in modern suburban setting mostly. The woman had just gotten out of prison, but I don't remember much coverage of her time in prison.

She either didn't work, or they didn't talk about her job (before prison) in any significant way. I think either the murder happened in a basement, or the climax of the book happened in the basement. I think she had children, but I can't be certain.
