Finished! Well, I didn't finish it that night, oops! I was stuck giving this a three or a two stars so I gave it a 2.5 because I liked the plot I just felt so detached from everything else. Maybe it was just that I didn't care much for the characters or something...
But I loved the 80's pop culture references and that scene at the end was so cute. But yeah, other from that I just felt "meh" about it :(

I think it's also because I read Warcross in Sept and they're both very similar, it was like rereading Warcross

I'm not finished yet (that's the problem with reading several books at once^^) but I'm about 3/4 done. I definitely see the parallels to Warcross (which I read last year). I still enjoy it though, but some parts are really info dumping like (like the part where he describes Wade's new apartment and gaming stuff for like 5 pages)

I haven't read Warcross, because of all the stories that it is really similar and than I would rather read the original book..

What did you think of the writing? Sometimes a little dry because there wasn't much dialogue, but all in all decent
What did you think of the characters? They were relatable to a point, though a bit exaggerated. I really liked Aech!
What did you think of the world? Interesting and it's amazing how much detail and thought the author put into it
