“You forget my dear cousin. Just like you I got my alcohol tolerance from my dear father. So this is nothing to my normal self.” It’s true I am not proud of it but I once drank Tom under the table without as so much as a hangover. The bartender brings our shots and I turn to my cousin.

“To tonight. And our dancing hearts.” I tell her giving a brief cheers before I downed all of the shots in a row. I ordered us three beers just to pas the time now.

“You go dance. Get yourself a real hottie and I’ll go get us a booth.” I tell her taking the beers and walking toweards the edge of the club.

I chuckle as she tells me that he alcohol tolerance is as good as mine so this is nothing. She gives a short toast to having a fun night and we down our shots. She orders us all some beers and tells me to go dance while she gets a booth.

"Alright, have fun tonight Liv. You deserve it." I tell her. I head off into the crowd and spot this hottie with some glasses. He could be fun. I smile as I head out to the dance floor and shake my hips with the music, giving him a few looks to see if he would come over.

I don’t know about deserving it but after tonight and the constant feeling of inadequacy and being alone for so long. I needed to just let loose and feel myself just let go and embrace myself almost. I picked the second level booth that gave us a good balcony.

Before I let my cousin Miles know where we were at. I took a sip of my beer until a white haired guy caught my attention. Wait is that water boy?!

“Pearl. Water boy is here. What should we do?” I asked her when I see him go to the corner of the dance floor and tap in for the DJ.

Cutie is just about to come my way when Liv tells me she sees the inhuman here. "Really? What the hell!" I hiss seeing him over by the dj booth. I was not having this. This is my night for fun. He is not ruining it.

Miles comes in and asks Liv what is going on as I storm off. I head over to glasses guy and ask if he wants to dance. He looks at me surprised and nods as I drag him out to the dance floor. I was going to have fun night, inhuman asshole be damned.

I see the guy on my side just putting up some mixes. He seemed a little worried or more like pissed. Like he just had a fight with someone. He turns up the lights and drops his mix. I’m thoroughly surprised since he had a pretty good beat. The entire club just goes wild by his music.

“I don’t think he’s here because of us Pearl. I think this is his gig.” I tell her through our mind link but she already is off with a kind of cute guy. But it’s like she also wants to get his attention which as of now he’s not even aware of us. I look at Miles and give him his beer.

“Nothing to worry about I guess. Tonight everyone is just getting loose.” I tell him. Dancing to the song. Damn it’s a really dope mix.

"Well isn't that freaking perfect." I reply through the mind link. I mean really out of all the clubs he has to have a gig at this one, tonight. Whatever screw him.

I focus on dancing with the guy. He was perfect cute in a nerdy way. I lose myself in the music dancing with the guy.

Miles

She passes me a beer and tells me that it is nothing to worry about and that tonight everyone is just getting loose. "Eh not too loose. You know your guys parents would kill me if you two got into an trouble." I tell her as she starts to dance to the music.

I see a couple guys eyeing her and I glare at them in a back off manner as I sip my beer.

Honestly my little sister is a pain in my ass. I’m out there trying to provide for us. Trying to help us create a system of our own to get our throne back and she’s off just wandering around. Using her siren powers to mix into the celebrity crowd. We got into this huge argument and now she’s off god knows where. I didn’t even realize that I was pouring my frustration my anger into my mix.

I was just scratching and mixing up songs and I just hear the crowd cheering and just the rush of everyone’s blood is in the back of my own head.

I don’t know what it was about the music. But it was provocative and it’s like it was touching our most raw like emotions. I looked back at Miles and just rolled my eyes when he says we have to just watch it.

I reached out and just placed my hand on his chest. “You need to let loose. Just listen to the music.” I whispered to him. Sure it was an ego boost to see guys fawning at me. But I wanted him to have a good time. I start swaying and popping my hips as I listened to the track.

I spin and twirl to the music. The guy moving with me as I get lost in the music. I run my fingers through my hair as I grind back against the guy. His body doing the same.

There was just something about the music. It was hot and raw and almost angry. It was captivating.

She reaches out to rest a hand on my chest. She tells me she needs to let loose and just listen to the music. She starts to sway to the music and I sip my beer a little more before I set it down.

I come over to dance with her. enjoy the moment a little even if I really shouldn't be.

I just poured myself into the music for more minutes than I realized. I could feel the adrenaline just swimming in the crowd and it was quite buzz worthy. I put on my playlist since it was my break time and I just slipped out of the do booth.

I go over to the bar and ask for beer before I looked at the crowd still affected by my music. Damn... if I could only live in this environment until I’m slipped into oblivion

I pull the guy to the side to go get a shot. I stand at the bar as I order us some shots. "I'm Archie." He shouts over the music and I chuckle a little thinking it was cute.

"Pearl." I say as the bartender serves us the shots and passes a guy a beer. I see the white hair and curse in my mind. I try my best to ignore him as I lift up a shot and clink it with Archie before downing it and then another.

I turned around and this blonde beauty catches my attention but then I see her with wannabe Joker guy. Being part of the underworld I know everyone and anyone that’s not meant to be known for heroes. But he’s gotten the whole innocent act down perfectly.

He excuses himself to go to bathroom and I just shake my head a bit.

“You’re a really bad judge of character blonde.” I tell her not really wanting to care but she’s someones sister.

Archie excuses himself to go to the bathroom. White hair decides to chime in the minute he is gone. He tells me that I am a really bad judge of character. I take a breath trying to remember that 'Pearl' doesn't know him.

"Thanks for the advice but I am sure I can handle myself." I say brushing him off as I order a beer to sip on while I wait for him to come back.

“Hopefully you do. But other than probably having a long alcohol tolerance and probably a good dancer. Doubt you’ll be able to put up a fight with a psychopath.” I tell her and just finish my beer and ask for another one.

“One more for the lady please.” I tell the bartender and just look back at her.

I smiled a little and just started dancing with Miles which he slowly just starts letting go. I grab him by his shirt and pressed up my body against him. I don’t know what it was about these songs but it just brings out a side of me that was just natural and not worried about anything.

I started grinding my body against him before I turned around and just let my butt grind up against him. Encouraging him to touch me.

I roll my eyes a little. "Oh trust me, baby. I can handle a fight with a psychopath." I tell him with a smirk and he orders me another beer. He says no hard feelings.

She grabs my shirt and pulls me to her, pressing her body against mine. I groan as she starts to grind against my body before turning around to let her butt grind against me.

“Bye Blondie.” I tell her when I see Jokester coming back. I wasn’t going to bring up a fight because of her. If she wants to go through this stunt with that guy I wasn’t going to stop that train wreck. I bought two more bottles and took them back over to my booth.

The weird thing is that now that I was aware of her I couldn’t just look away or anything like that. I shake my head and put on my headphones and started grinding up some new tunes.

I pull away a bit as I start to sway my body when I looked up at Miles and he tells me my name. I looked at him with an arched eyebrow when a cute guy comes over and asks me for a dance.

“Sure .” I smiled I wasn’t going to force Miles to dance with me if he didn’t want to. I go back with the guy and we just started dancing like crazy again. Some old reggeton started playing and I couldn’t stop dancing. Not even when the guys hands were in my ass.

He says bye and Archie comes back. I smile and we drink a little more before we head back out onto the dance floor. I try to forget about the guy to just enjoy myself. I dance close with him enjoying the music even if I hated the guy mixing it.

"You look so lovely tonight, Yin." Archie mumbles against my neck. I freeze a little hearing my hero name. He shouldn't know that. I feel something prick my skin and I push away starting to feel dizzy. I sway on my feet and he pulls me back to his chest as I try to pull away.

I growl a little as a guy nabs her away. She goes off to dance with him and I try my hardest not to be pissed until I see him grabbing her ass. I storm over and butt in.

"Mind if I cut in." I say, glaring at the guy before I pull Livy to me to go dance.

I glance up and sure enough Jokster strikes and she’s slipping into unconsciousness. That is not my business. Titans ruined everything. They left us for dead my family and I, and I would be damned if I helped them. For crying out loud I warned her and she was just trying to not listen to me.

But... damn she wasn’t looking for trouble. I slip off of my booth and My eyes lock with Archie. My hold on him freezing him in place as I caught Blondie.

“Woah there. You look sick? Let’s get you somewhere safe.” I said trying to play it off in front of the humans as I pulled her away.

I didn’t even notice that Niles was in the mix all of a sudden and he scared the guy away. When I let out a sigh and rolled my eyes.

“Seriously Miles would it kill you to just turn off your brain for one night? Dancing and having a good time is not bad.” I tell him annoyed when I go to our booth again and just downed on another shot of tequila.

Everything is blurry and I feel myself starting to go limp. He freezes suddenly and I hear a familiar voice as I tumble backwards. He says something but my head feels so fuzzy. My head lulls against his shoulder.

"Mmm..." I mumble not really with it.

She tells me that would it kill me to just turn off my brain for one night. "Having a good time is fine, just not like that." I tell her as she downs another shot.

"You have a boyfriend, Livy. I am sure he would be pissed if he saw you dancing like that with some other guy. If not then he is a fool." I tell her.

I looked back at him when he tells me that I shouldn’t be having fun like that because I have a boyfriend. I rolled my eyes a bit when he tells me that if he doesn’t act like that then he’s a fool.

“You obviously forgot how Kurt can be. He has the self esteem the size of Mount Kilimanjaro if I was dancing like that he wouldn’t budge. Because he knows that I wouldn’t do anything that isn’t right.” I snapped at him and just rolled my eyes.

“You on the other hand never just have fun with me. It’s all about being a baby sitter. I bet you can’t even take three shots because it’s fun.” I tell him looking at the shots in front of us.

I can tell that he was just eye daggering me and I knew that I was probably going to feel the reprocussions of probably invading his hunt. I toss her over my shoulders and walked out of the damn club. I wasn’t intoxicated but I don’t think I can ride her in a bike.

“But I can take care of myself. You’re a real Blondie.” I mumble under my breath when I slip into a car and placed her down on shotgun.

I roll my eyes as she brings up her boyfriend. She tells me that I never have fun with her and that it is all about being the babysitter with me. She challenges me about taking shots.

I think about it and just say screw it. I down the three shots. "There but don't complain when we have to uber home." I tell her.

He hauls me over his shoulder and walks away. He mumbles about me being a real blondie. "Smug asshole." I slur out. "I could... have handled... myself. Stupid guy drugged me. Took me by surprise." I mumble as he sits me down and I close my eyes a little.

I slipped behind the wheel and just started the engine. Unfortunately I knew how to get to the stupid Titans tower just fine. “Yeah well don’t say I didn’t warn you. But no you just wanted to prove a point against me.” I tell her and just shake my head a bit.

“Thought Titans were supposed to be real badasses.” I tell her and just drove into the country road towards their tower.

“I let your cousins know that you went home early.” I tell her giving her her phone back.

“I’ll take Uber over you just spending time with me any day.” I tell him and just grabbed his hand and guided him to the dance floor. I read the sudden text and I just shrugged my shoulders when I noticed the si was gone too.

Go cousin. He was hot after all.

I fake his hand and just dance with Miles. I didn’t start grinding on him just yet. But I was swaying my body to the music. Just really feeling us just being drawn towards one another.

I roll my eyes a little after I open them. "We normally are though I wasn't expecting that guy to be crazy. I was just looking for a night of fun and dancing and he totally ruined that." I mumble pissed my night had been ruined.

She grabs my hand and guides me back to the dance floor with her. She starts to dance with me, swaying her body to the music. I rest a hand on her waist, moving with her. I try to get into the music and not stress. The shots helping with that.

“Kind of hard not to know who you are. You all don’t really wear that great of masks to consider. And I know those eyes and those golden locks from anywhere.” I tell her answer just kept driving.

I was kind of shocked when he actually reached out and placed his hand around my waist. It made me blush a little but I just leaned into him. My hands on his chest as I danced with him to the music. It was good to feel the music taking me away

But feeling this string of pull towards someone that made me feel safer than anything ever. I just pressed myself to him and danced with him nice and slow.

She leans to me as we dance and the music turns slower as we dance together. I hold her closer to me. She felt so right in my arms, the scent of her shampoo filling my lungs as I breath in a little.

I smiled and had a great time with Miles as soon as he stopped feeling weird about it. Having our bodies pressed closer to one another just felt right. I could feel my nerves kicking in but at the same time I was calm.

I think we danced for a an hour before I pull him out of the club so I could just think a bit. I held a beer in my hands as I walked to our car.

“Sorry the music and everything was getting a bit much for an empath.” I said giggling a bit as I leaned against the car.

“How are you? I mean six shots and two beers and you seem happy. “ I asked.

"I am." I say when he says he assumes he is the ass I am talking about. I scoff as he says I should have an idea of who villains are and how they look like.

We dance for a while and it is fun. We drink and laugh and dance. It's nice. She pulls me out to the car with her beer, telling me that the music and everything was getting a bit much. She giggles a little and asks me how I am since I was six shots and two beers in.

"I'm doing okay." I tell her feeling pretty buzzed. "Can't drive but I'm not on the floor yet."

I looked back at him and laugh a little when he just smiles at me and he tells me he is definitely not driving. I scoff a little and just shrugged my shoulders.

“It was worth it though. Seeing you let loose is a treat. Now how about you and I use my powers to try and get us home.” I tell him. Wrapping my arms around him so we were face to face.

I looked at him and just bite my lip when I hear his rooting for me and to not stop trying. I close my eyes a bit and I just bite my lip a little. Feeling this spark between us. I’ve felt it for a while now and it’s hard to ignore it.
