Mission. Is good. And I was just thinking 18? Or 19 is fine. So that way liv would be legal so she’d be 17 or so.

I look through a pair of binoculars as I look take in the situation. "Alright we've got hostages with three gun men visible. There could be more. Miles you need to get in there so we can have eyes and ears." I tell him through the coms.
"On it." He mumbles. Some of the Joker's minions were holding up a jewelry shop. Not really sure why but then again he is the Joker, there never is a why to anything he does. "Liv stick close for back up. If something goes down I want you to cloak the place in darkness."
OliviaI stay in the background trying to count out how many of them were there in the building. Of course Pearl goes on and talks about me as back up. “I still don’t understand why on earth is joker still mopping. I swear he’s gotten more bitter and vengeful than before. Talk about wounded ego.” I tell them. Seriously since Harley left his ass ten years ago for Ivy it’s like he’s a major call for help.
Maia is in the background pretending to be one of the hostages for a bit. I swear I don’t know where we would be without those Logan siblings. They just go in without a question.
“Wait Pear... I sense someone else in there. He doesn’t feel human.” I explained to her. It was hard to pin point it.
PearlI chuckle and roll my eyes at Liv commentary on the Joker. I pause as Liv tells me that she sense someone else in there and he doesn't feel human. Shit that wasn't good.
"Whatcha got, Liv? I need everything you can give me on him." I tell her needing to know what we are dealing with. We've got our teammates in there and if this guy decides to do something he could get them hurt.
Liv“Well let me just pull up his Facebook profile. Looks like he’s a Scorpio he’s AB blood type and woman don’t you think I would’ve told you more if I could.” I snark back at her. Seriously sure I have my mothers powers but I am half human here. I’m not my mother which in a blink of an eye she can tell who’s who in ten states!
But I just take a deep breath and zen out my mind. Something my mother taught me to practice a bit.
“Azarath Metrios Zynthos” I chant and I get a better read of him but I can’t pin point what he is.
“I feel water but he’s dangerously calm. Like this isn’t scaring him or even pissing him off. “ I tell her.
PearlI roll my eyes at her sass. She is a smart mouth just like her father. "Need more info then he isn't human, Liv. We've got teammates in there. I can't risk this guy trying to be a hero." I tell her. She is quiet for a bit and I am sure she is trying to focus.
She tells me she feels water but he is dangerously calm. Like this isn't freaking him out and he isn't pissed at all. "Wonderful. Let's hope he stays that way." I say and sigh. "Miles update."
"Six shooters and at least ten hostages besides us." He mumbles quietly through the com.
"Alright, Liv you and I are going to distract them will Miles and Maia get people out." I tell her.
(Crashing for the night)
LivI bite my lip and smiled a little when she tells me to get a heads up that we were just going to slip in and cause a distraction. “Someone please tell her Pearl that she’s not the boss.” I hear Tom in the mic. Which of course is going lone wolf on this. I mean they’re twins and yet it’s like seeing my aunt and uncle in them.
Tom is an amazing Titan problem was that he can get a bit crazy. But he’s always the best back up we got even if he does tease the hell out of his sister.
“This is her mission Tom, so she’s the boss right now” I tell him through the mic as I slipped into the shadows and stayed on stand by.
(Oh shit I forgot about Stars and Dicks kid /.- yeah that would’ve been a good pair))

I roll my eyes as my twin tells us to tells me I am not the boss. Liv tells him that this is my mission so I am the boss. Tom and I were co captains of the titans since we were the oldest. Well besides Miles who is two hours older then us but he wasn't interested in being a leader.
"Don't you know, Tommy boy. I am the boss because I was born ten minutes before you." I tease him.
I was the oldest of our four siblings. It was me then Tom separated by ten minutes, then our younger brother Jamie who is fifteen and lastly our little sister Missy May or better known by her nickname M&M. Missy was our parents surprise baby. They said they were stopping after Jamie but then mom got pregnant one last time. So the gap between us all was pretty decent. Missy is only six but she is the cutest little thing ever and a totally daddy's girl.

"Of course you're going to bring up the whole age difference by minutes woman! And it's by minutes!" He calls out in the com and i just roll my eyes for a little bit. Those two are always bickering and yet they're always at sync in the strangest way. I guess that's what it means to have a twin? My little sister and brother are like two peas in a pod. Unfortunately they didn't inherit my mother's powers but they did handle telekinesis quite well, but all three of us have the soul of a fighter like assassin like our father
But sometimes i did wonder what it would feel like to have someone that you're close to and in sync with
"Can you two stop fighting and just go! We have an inhuman in there and our team mate. If anything happens to Maia it's going to be our asses with our parents." I don't know what it was about Maia but everyone loved her. She was the ultimate girl next door and it's always heart attack worthy when we see her just go crazy into danger like a freaking musketeer. If anything happens with that water boy she's going balls in

"Doesn't matter. I'm still older then you little bro." I tease him. Liv tells us to stop fighting and that we have an inhuman in there and our teammates. We needed to focus or else something could happen to them.
"Alright alright. Tom stay long range to talk anyone out if needed. Liv you and I are going in. We need to take out as many of the gun men as we can and then see about the inhuman." I tell them.
LivI smiled a little bit when i just hear them in the background. They're really interesting but i wasn;t going to get in between the two of them. that was just asking for trouble.
"Ok got it. I'm coming in from the back." I tell her as i cloaked myself in the shadows and i slipped in from the back. I could sense the Joker's anger and madness as he tries to maintain order in his crew like in his head. I hear gunshots but it's against his crew
"Anyone else wants to voice out their opinions?" I hear him hissing and growling
PearlLiv tells me she is coming in the back. "I've got the front." I tell them as I slip down shooting a grapping hook to the building. I here gun shots before I come crushing through the window.
What no one ever said I had to play by the book. I chuckle a little having the Joker hiss and growl about anyone else wants to voice out their opinions. "Well I've got a few." I say with a smirk before I throw some daggers at the gunman.
LivI rolled my eyes a bit when i see Pearl just storming on in. She complains about her brother just going balls in to the mission but she does the exact same thing. I walk in right with her when the Joker sees us and he automatically points at the hosteges.
I wave my hands and place a shadow shield as the bullets literally fall to the ground like rain drops.
"need an emergency exit here Miles?" I say to the intercom when i see Maia's eyes turn to snake irises and she slips out of her restraints. She goes off and starts untying everyone so they can make a run for it
PearlI jump in bouncing around as I take the gun men out while Liv keeps the hostage safe. Maia and Miles working on getting then out of here.
"Got it." Miles tells her after she asks about an emergency exit. He bust open a door and helps his sister with getting hostage out of here. "Liv keep your eyes on the inhuman." I tell her as I throw a guy.
LivI just kept the barrier up until i see Joker starting to slip out from the back. I try to concentrate and create another shadow shield but it flakes out and he's gone. But we're dealing with the hench men and of course they're being multiplied by every door this place has hidden.
"Inhuman? That's what you're calling me?" I turned around to look at the almost god like man. Damn he's gorgeous like Adonis gorgeous. His pake blue eyes look at me and he just grins.

The guy talks to Liv and all I care is that the freaking Joker is getting away. The henchman are flowing in like rats and Miles and Maia are still trying to get people out. "Tom the Joker is getting away." I tell him. "I need you to stop him until we can get there."
I hiss as I feel a bullet graze my side. Damn that strings. I keep up fighting though to take down theses guys to buy time to save the hostages. "Liv I need some cover here." I get out as I flip back out of the hail fire of bullets.
Livi was snapped out of it when i hear Pearl asking me for back up. I hiss under my breath and just let my powers go for now. "Screw this." I said under my breath when i put the field down when i hear that Maia and Miles have taken the hosteges out. All except well the mystery guy.
I dash towards the firing of the shots. I use my powers to glove out my fists and just use it like a power fist. I quickly disable one guard after another when i see the inhuman just staring at us all.
PearlShe comes in taking out a good amount of the henchmen and soon we've got most of them down. The last little bit just give up not looking to get their butts kicked.
"Well that was fun." I say shaking my head, hold my side. I get a good look at the inhuman. Jeez he was good looking. I mean most of my family and relative are good looking but the guy was smoking. He is just staring at us.
"Take a picture, it will last longer." I tell him before I talk to Tom. "Tom what is the update with Joker? Did he get away?"
livI looked back when i see Pearl just smiling and feel completely untense and there's this adrenaline relief when she looks over at the inhuman. I sense a slight attraction towards him and i just kept my mouth shut about it.
"It's fine, you'll all become a distant memory to me." He says and his eyes just turn deep blue when all of a sudden i couldn't move. My body was stiff as a board. I looked over at Pearl and it looks like she couldn't move either.
"Don't bother, I'm controlling the water flow of your blood. Consider yourselves... it." He says walking over to the henchmen and with one wave of his hands there's this wave that came out of the guard's cantines. Weapons being washed away into this stream that directed it towards the door.
"Yeah i got him. But you know Batman came and claimed him and took him to Arkam."
PearlHe says it is fine and that we'll all become a distant memory to him. His eyes glow blue and suddenly I am frozen in place. I see Liv is too. He tells us not to bother to try to move that he is controlling the water flow in our blood. He says to consider us it.
He washes away the weapons away. I hear Tom tell me they he got him but Batman came and claimed him, taking him to Arkham. Dammit. This was our mission. I didn't need him babysitting us.
"Scarlet." I manage to get out. It was our code red code word to let him know we were in trouble. It I could move I'd show mister water show off whose it.
LivI was budging so hard as the water boy went through all of the henchmens wallets and started taking out money when he looks at us and grins.
"Cute, scarlet? any other way that you Titans might be any predicatble?" He sounded... pissed almost venomous. I was trying to even out my breathing but i just couldn't get in touch with that core.
"On it." I hear Tom calling out and we just waited a little while longer. I just hope nobody tried to play the hero. I see the red dot of Tom's gun on the guy, I stop breathing for a bit when i hear the gun shot.
but if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes i wouldn't believe it, the bullet went through the guy like a ripple in the water, and the bullet hit stright at the floor in front of him. That caught water boy's attention and he just smirked
"I'd love to play with you Titans but unlike you i don't abandon the lives of the less unfortunate." He hisses before he turns around and starts walking away.
PearlI am trying my damnest to try and move. He calls us predictable and sounds pissed. "Stealing money from bad guys. Real Robin hood type aren't you." I say with a glare.
I hear Tom tell us he is on it. There is a red dot on the guy's chest and there is a gun shot. The freaking bullet passes through him. He just smirks and hisses he would love to play with us Titans but unlike us he doesn't abandon the lives of the less unfortunate.
"Who the hell are you?" I snap at him as he walks away. "Where the hell do you get off saying we abandon people. We do our best to save people. I didn't fucking see you doing anything to help those people who were being held at gun point. No you just stuck around to steal from the henchmen like a freaking coward."
LivI didn’t know what to say. I mean what he was feeling was pretty real and you could tell that he wasn’t lying but at the same time he wasn’t phased at all with what Pearl was yelling out at him. His eyes just looked at us both and then at Pearl.
“Ask the last Titans about the fallen kingdom.” He says in a calm and collected tone before he literally disappeared into nothing. We were all stuck for a while before I finally felt his hold slip away. And I fell to the floor. You could hear the sirens in the background and yet the only thing cops would be useful was handcuffing the men.
PearlHe tells me to ask the old gen of Titans about the fallen kingdom. He disappears after that and it was a little longer before we could move. I swear as I finally can move.
"Son of a bitch." I say and hear the cops coming. I go over to help Liv up. "Let's get out of here." I tell her and com out to the others to head back to the tower. I personally was pissed. That dude ticked me off plus not to mention grandpa Bruce swooped in to take away the Joker. This was our mission that was our capture.

There was nothing else for us to do here. I felt kind of bad for Pearl. I mean she worked this case day in and night out and our grandfather just swooped in and took Joker? It wasn’t that much of an ego booster and you could tell that it bothered her. She told us to retreat. And I went ahead and warped us up in the shadow.
We appeared back out where Pearls bike was and we just went ahead and directed us back to the tower. It was time to probably lick our wounds.

Liv wraps us up in a shadow and we appear back art my bike. I hand her a helmet before I put on my own. I see Miles pull up in his car with Maia. I was glad to see they were okay. My side was hurting like a bitch from the graze and I pissed that grandpa swooped in.
This was my freaking mission! Having him just swoop in like that makes me feel like he doesn't think I could have handled it. I had everything under control, we were doing great. Well minus mister inhuman who decided to crash the show.
Thinking about him made my blood boil. Who was he to judge me and my team? I needed to talk with my parents about this fallen kingdom and see what his beef is.
"Alright let's get back to the tower." I say hopping on my bike once we are sure everyone is here.

I felt like a wounded woman here. All my life my parents never pressured me to be like them. But when my siblings were born I realized that my mothers powers were only inherited by me. I wanted to be as great as my mother to not lose the power. But no matter what I do I can’t be as good enough.
I can’t breathe into my core and have this tap on the power. This mission took a lot of me to be more than just a shield. But I can’t even create multiple shields without fluking.
We all get back to the tower just fine. Our parents moved out a long time ago. And we all moved in here when each of us turned 15. It was a Bruce rule where we were raised with our parents but it was our right of passage to come here at an age. Two years here for me and I still feel like all I could offer was ass whopping

I tug off my helmet and sigh. "You did good, Liv. Keep working on those shields." I tell her. She was always hard on herself since she was the only one to get her mom's powers. It was a lot to live up to.
Honestly I felt the pressure too. I was one of the leaders of the titans along with my twin. I wanted to do go. I wanted our parents to see that we didn't need to be babysat. That we could do just as good as they did back in the day.
I give my team a pat on the back before I go patch myself up so I can write up the report for the mission. After that I was so going to the club. I needed loud music and drinks. Maybe a cute guy to dance with too. Anything to get my mind off of everything that was pissing me off right now.
Liv“Thanks for that.” I tell her and I just let out a long sigh of frustration before I stripped from my combat shirt. Just walked around in my sports bra. I know that Pearl says not to be too hard on myself. And Tom might say the exact same thing but I was just not having it.
All my life my powers just glitch up and it’s just stupid some times. I went straight to the training room. I wrapped my hands up with bandages and I just started punching away. I don’t know what to do right now. Towards a man that control water I couldn’t get in touch with my own powers
MilesI can tell Pearl is ticked about how the mission went. Liv seemed kind of down too. I follow her to the training room and see her wrap up her hands before she starts to punch the punching bag.
"You good, Livy?" I ask her wanting to make sure she was okay. She did pretty good today. Sure her powers kind of glitched a little but she had them working when it counted and to me that was what mattered the most.
LivI was punching away and kicking to the point that I had punched a whole in the bag and the sand started coming out. When I hear Miles coming up from behind and he tries to ask me if I’m okay. I wipe the sweat from my forehead. Just shaking my head a little as a strand of my white iridescent hair falls from the confines of my bun.
“No I’m not okay Miles. I’m a freaking dead weight to the team. The only thing that I’m good at is punching.” I said almost hurt in my tone. My mother and father loved me unconditionally but:.. it sucks to not be able to better than what you know you can.
Miles"How now that isn't true. You shielded everyone for a brief time today. If you hadn't done that. Several of those people would be in the hospital or worse. Heck Maia or I could have been hit but we weren't because of you." I tell her after she tells me she is dead weight to the team.
"Don't beat yourself up so much. You are a great team member and I am glad to know you have my back." I say with a little smile. She really was a great team mate. She had saved my sorry ass several times now.
LivI looked back at my Miles a I wipe away a tear that slips from my eyes and I just roll my eyes for a bit. I tried to just take a breather and I just stand in the middle of the mat. Not saying anything for now when I just looked back at him.
“Miles you are the one that is amazing. You and your sister have the animal kingdom in the palm of your hands. You can freaking knock down a god damn wall and earth.” I tell him and just try to take a breath.
“I don’t know why Kurt isn’t here to help us or comfort me... what kind of boyfriend is her.” I groan.

She looks at me and wipes away a tear before she rolls her eyes. She is quiet as she takes a break from punching the bag. She tells me that I am the amazing one and that my sister and I have the animal kingdom in the palm of our hands.
"Eh it's not that great." I say with a little shrug. She brings up for boy friend and I frown a little. Dude was so clueless. I swear, he doesn't deserve someone as awesome and sweet as Livy.
"The shitty kind." I mumble and wrap an arm around her. "How about some ice cream? Celebrate our small victory. I mean we did catch a bunch of the Joker's henchmen and we saved the hostages. That's a win in my book."
Liv“We would’ve caught more of the henchmen had I just gone full assault instead of trying to rely on my powers.” I just told him and I just rolled my eyes a bit when he tells me how about some ice cream and I just rolled my eyes a bit.
“Well I don’t know about ice cream but if we tag along with Pearl and go out to the club. Some shots might help the wounded ego along with everyone.” I tell him and just smiled a little when I felt his hand touch at my skin. I don’t know but I just felt this calm spark under my skin
MilesShe tells me that we would have caught more of them if she had gone assault instead of trying to rely on her powers. "You did fine, Livy. We caught a bunch of them and that is the main point." I tell her.
She brings up going to the club with Pearl. I shrug a little. "I guess." I say since I am not really a big drinker or partier. It was more of Pearl's thing. It was how she blew off steam. "I'll go if you want to go that way I can keep an eye on you gals and drive you home afterwards."
LivI looked back at Miles when he tells me that he’ll be our designated driver. Pearl and I are a little bit the same as in blowing off steam. We’re go getters we’re adrenaline junkies. It has me thinking that maybe that’s one of the reasons why I can’t remain zen with my powers.
But tonight I’m just going wild to dance as much as possible. I looked back at him and smiled just a little bit when I held his hand. “See you in the front. And be dressed for a club. We don’t want you to look like a narc
(Crashing for the night)Miles
She smiles holding onto my hand as she tells me to dress for the club. That they don't want me to look like a narc. "Yeah, yeah." I tell her and shoo her off to go get dressed.
I head back to my room and change into a black button up shirt which I leave the first few buttons undone. I throw on some jeans and sneakers to go with it.
I head back to the front to see Pearl all dressed and ready to go.
"Hey Miles. You tagging along?" She says as she finishes up with her make up.
"Yeah, Livy wanted to come along so I figured I could drive you guys back after." I tell her. She smiles a little.
"Thanks that would be great." She says and kisses my cheek in a sisterly way. She goes back to fussing with make up and hair while we wait for Livy.
Pearl's Outfit
LivI walk away and go and grab the most sexiest outfit I have in my closet. Tonight I just want to let loose and look hot! Why not? My boyfriend is out doing whatever as Superman’s son and I’m here just dealing with my own insecurities. When he asked me to be his girlfriend I was happy that someone liked me.
I gazed at my mirror at a picture of us together. He kissed my cheek and just held me in his arms. We were happy... or at least I thought we were happy. I didn’t like him as a boyfriend back then but I figured I could learn to. Two years together and yet I haven’t felt so alone as I do now.
I fix my hair a bit with some dry shampoo. Letting my hair have this loose beach wave hair when I fixed my make up for some night out colors. I went neutral on the eyeshadow but went full on ruby lips before I walked out and saw my cousins.
“Alright let’s go.” I said smiling feeling hot as hell.

PearlLiv comes out and looks amazing. "Girl, damn you look amazing!" I tell her linking arms with her. "Don't you think so Miles?" Our cousin blushes a little and rubs his neck softly.
"Yeah, she looks good." He mumbles. Ah my clueless cousin. He has had a crush on Liv since forever but he totally didn't man up and ask he out and now she was dating superhunk who was never around. Not that he was a bad guy but Liv deserved a guy who was going to be there for her.
"Let's go. The club is waiting I need a drink." I say pulls her along to head to the garage to get Miles's car.
LivI looked back at Miles and see him blushing and trying not to make eye contact with me for some reason I mean I think I look hot and I don’t mind that he sees me. I mean it’s the whole reason why I am wearing this.
“Yes let’s. I need some shots in my system.” I smiled at my cousin and just walked with them to the car. Maia said something about doing research about the fallen kingdom. But honestly I think she wanted to stay behind for Tom.
We get in the Car and just drive away.
PearlMiles gets in his car and we all buckle up before he takes off. I was looking forward to drinks and dancing. Anything to get my mind off of things for a bit. I didn't want to think about the mission or my parents or that stupid inhuman. Tonight was going to be about having fun.
It is a short ride to the club and Miles drops us off at the door while he goes to find parking. I flash my fake id for the bouncer and he waves Livy and me in.
"Mmm so what do you feel like drinking tonight?" I ask her.
LivI get where Pearl was coming from. We got our butts whipped by an unknown. Our grandfather swooped in and caught the catch that we rightfully put our asses on the line for. And now we have to figure out what dark secret is the one that festered this weird encounter.
“Make it three shots of tequila and one shot of absinthe.” Oh I wasn’t messing around. Tonight was about having a good time and just letting loose for once. I wanted to just tap out for the night and that’s it.
PearlShe orders us shots and I plop down at the bar. "Well I hope you aren't drinking those all by yourself. Gotta pace yourself." I tease her with a smile as the bartender works on serving up the shots.
"Don't want to get trashed before we can get our dance on." I tell her checking out the dance floor for hotties.
