KitI rest against my man, his ring on my pinkey finger at the moment since my hands were so swollen. MY stomach was so round at this point I couldn't see my feet. Not that I wanted too since they were no doubt completely swollen too.
Grayson comes in saying Wayne wanted to have a meeting. I groan as Jason helps me up so we can walk out. "I swear I can't wait for these two to be born already." I say resting a hand on my lower back as I waddle over with him.
Beast
I pace a little as I wait for the others to show up. Today was the day. I don't know what to expect. I mean if the baby wasn't mine... it felt wrong to just walk away after all this time. At the same time I don't know if I want it to be mine.
I draw Ty to me as she comes in and wait for Bruce to get us the news.
ToddI looked down at my girl and just smiled a little bit when my girl is just as she waddles. “I know baby but you look so beautiful right now. You have such glow that makes me want to just bow at your feet.” I whispered to her and when we get to the conference room.
I help my girl sit down on the nice comfy rolling chair. Raven wasn’t showing that much but she did have a bump to it. I think she was on her second trimester.
Finally everyone was here when Bruce showed up on the screen.
“Thank you Titans for coming. With Terra being on her seventh trimester we manage to get the dna result to assume paternity of the baby.” He says opening up a sealed envelope from Wayne enterprises his eyes widen but he doesn’t say anything
“Beast boy in the case of baby boy joe. You are the father.” We all stay silent until he starts talking again.
“Jason Todd in the case of baby boy joe. You are the father.”
“Jamie Santiago (blue beetle)) in the case of baby boy joe. You are the father.”
“Dick Greyson in the case of baby boy joe. You are the father.” I am in shock as I get up on my feet
“Is this a joke?” I hiss and all the guys are freaking out.
Beetle chanting. “I never had sex with that woman!” He was kissed and his girl was confused like Star was.
“It looks like the baby was a genetic mutation of dna that were taken from you all.” Bruce explained.
(Sorry fell asleep)Kit
He smiles and tells me he knows but I look so beautiful right now. That I have such glow that makes him want to just bow at my feet. I chuckle a little. "Isn't that how you feel all the time." I tell as we head to the conference room.
He helps me sit down and sigh resting a hand over my stomach as the rest come in. Wayne appears on the screen.
He thanks us for coming and pulls out a envelope with the results. We all start to freak out as he revels that the baby's father is not just Beast boy but Jason, Beetle and Grayson as well.
All the guys start to flip out saying that they had never had sex with Terra. Wayne explains that it looks like the baby was a genetic mutation of dna that were taken from them all.
"So the baby is technically none of theirs but at the same time all of theirs." I say not in the slightest bit freaked out. I trusted my man plus being a genetic mutation myself I understand the dirty bits of it.
"My guess is she pulled DNA from you all well she was here and had someone who knows how mix them together. The baby is weapon. It would have the strengths and weakness of each of you. Our four strongest male members minus Damian since she probably figured out he was on to her."
Todd“That’s just plain out dirty. To use an innocent life like that as a freaking Hail Mary is quite unforgivable. Do we have any leads on the doctor that performed this procedure?” I asked Wayne and he just shakes his head.
“We’re looking into it. Now I know this is an uncomfortable topic but genetically you all are the father but there needs to be steps for the baby. I’ve just been notified that Terra is in labor. We will proceed to take custody of the child but...” I get what he was trying to say. Who was going to be the legal father of the baby.
I don’t know what to say. I mean genetically he is my child but I have two children who are mine to deal with to raise. I guess everyone was thinking the same way when Ty speaks up.
“This changes nothing. We’ll be legally responsible for the baby Mr. Wayne. If Terra is in labor we should be there.” Ty says holding her mans hand. Well they’ve been there all these months so I guess it makes sense for them to feel still attached to the situation
KitThe guys all seem torn over who was going to be the kids father since Terra is in labor and we need to take custody of the baby. Ty speaks up holding Beast's hand saying that they will still be legally responsible for the baby. That they should be there.
"Ty, right. Todd and Dick already have kids on the way and Beetle... I doubt he would want to have to take on this responsibly like this. Besides Ty and I have been the in the mind set that we were going to take this baby on even if I wasn't the dad." Beast tells them.
I squeeze my man's hand softly thinking that was really sweet how much they were willing to do for this baby. I mean it would have a much better chance here with us then will Terra and whoever else wanted it.
Todd“Alright if that’s what you want I’m faxing over the release of parental rights and a couple of papers you both need to sign and the medic is aware of the situation. The Jet is set with the coordinates of the location where Terra is giving birth.” Of course knowing Bruce he wasn’t going to risk anything in order for the baby to be safe and for Terra not to escape.
They all had their nightmares when Terra would lash out on her own body. I don’t even know how the baby got through that. Ty thanks Wayne and takes his hand and walk out with Beast.
We all stay behind letting the news really sink on that one.
“Well Damian looks like you dodge that bullet.” I hear Beetle tell him. I mean it’s heavy I don’t think anyone has ever gone through this. I just hold my girls hand not knowing what to say or think.
KitTy and Beast both leave to go deal with paperwork and get to Terra. The rest of us our left behind and the news seems to really sink in for the guys. Beetle tells Damian it looks like he dodges that bullet.
"Eh, I got my own suffering for shit she caused." He says holding Rae close to him. He rubs his hands over her small baby bump. My own man looks a little shell shocked over the whole thing.
"You can still be in the baby's life if you feel like you need too." I tell him. "I'm sure Ty and Beast wouldn't mind the help with the baby since they are going to be thrown into parenthood suddenly. We've got a least a walk ourselves so we can help them get set up." I tell him trying to help comfort him knowing this was rough for him and all the guys.
ToddI looked at my girl that tells me that if I feel like I have a part to play in the babys life I could. I mean I guess it’s that but now I’m worried about the third child. I mean if this baby has all of our strengths and weaknesses.
“My blood lust might be hereditary. That’s what I’m worried about and I don’t know how to deal with this news.” I tell her honestly and just touch her womb a bit.
“You don’t have blood lust but Terra. With her psycho tendencies and my shit I don’t know how that’s going to affect that baby.” I tell her and just help her up.
“Want to lay somewhere?”
KitHe tells me that the baby could get his blood lust and that is what he is worried about. He touches my womb softly and says I don't have blood lust but Terra. She was a whole different type of crazy and he doesn't know how that will affect the baby.
"Hey now that baby will also has some pretty awesome other dads and Beast and Ty are going to raise it. It's going to have the best shot a being good." I tell him reassuringly.
He helps me up as he asks if I want to go lay down somewhere. "Yes, that would be great." I say and groan a little as the babies kick a little. "Love you too sweeties but you need to calm down for mommy okay." I whisper to them rubbing my stomach. They were more and more active as my due date grew closer.
Todd“Well it’s a good thing that we’re all together. We help each other out and we’re all in this together.” I tell her leaning in and kissing her cheek when I grabbed her close. She seemed to be stunned by the movement of our babies. I leaned in and kissed her lips softly.
I then placed my hand on her womb and just lightly rubbed her tummy. “Now now be good to your mommy.” I whispered to them and they seemed to calm down significantly before we walked on out and went to the canopy and the bangalow
KitI smile as he leans in to kiss me and place his hand on my womb. He rubs my swollen belly lightly and whisper to them to be good to their mommy. They seem to settle and I sigh kissing his cheek.
He was pretty adorable with the babies. I would wake up sometimes and he would be whispering to them, telling them little stories. How excited he was to see them. It was really too cute.
He walks with me out the canopy and the bungalow. I was looking forward to being off my feet again. My belly was so big at this point it was a paint to do anything besides laying down.
"We are. So that baby is going to be fine. Plus it is going to have a bunch of siblings real soon." I say with a smile. Star was about to pop and I had maybe a week more before I would be too.
Todd“True true. It’s rhe season of babies and it looks like everyone is popping everywhere babies.” I said smiling as help her lay down on the hammock and just sat down next to her. I went ahead and rubbed at her feet knowing that she wasn’t having it.
“You’re right baby. And I can’t wait to meet our babies.” I whispered to her and just kept on kneeling at her feet and just waited a little longer. I just hope that Beast and Ty are going to be okay.
“Do you think Ty is acting a little weird?”
KitHe says true and it looks like everyone is popping everywhere babies. He helps me lay down on the hammock and sits next to me to rub my feet. I sigh a little thankful he didn't mind doing that.
I couldn't even see my feet but I swear they have to look like balloons from how swollen they feel. He whispers that I am right and he can't wait to meet our babies. I smile a little rubbing my hand over my belly.
"Me too." I whisper.
He asks me about Ty and if I thought she was acting weird. "Not that I noticed. I mean I think she is handling this situation pretty well but then again they have been in the mind set that they would be taking on this baby for the pass few months." I tell him.
"Why? Do you felt something is wrong?" I ask him.
ToddI just rubbed her up when she tells me that she’s been handling the whole baby situation just fine and quite admirable. I guess she does have a point in all but I don’t know. It’s not exactly what I meant and I still go to her side and cuddled with her.
“It’s nothing alarming it’s just. Recently she’s beeen acting just a tad bit hormonal and I don’t know. I feel like at the conference room she was hiding something. She kind of looked worried and scared.” I tell her. Not thinking that it’s anything bad per say
KitHe rubs my feet a little more before he comes up to cuddle with me. He tells me it isn't anything alarming and that she has been a bit more hormonal and that he felt like she was hiding something.
"Hormonal? Oh shit! Do you think she could be pregnant??" I ask him surprised that I hadn't pick up on that myself but then again I was busy prepping for two babies.
Todd“I’m not sure I’m not really an expert on pregnancies love. I mean considering that everyone had different symptoms and pregnancies. I mean Raven is six months pregnant and she looks like she’s on her first trimester.” I tell her and just rock with her.
Damn this was all a little surreal. Us being parents at the same time. Beetle goes out with the Justice League every once in a while for back up. Dick sometimes goes on high end requests and I sometimes tag along but I’ve been more full time with her.
KitHe tells me he isn't sure and he isn't really the expect on pregnancies, considering that everyone had different symptoms. He points out Raven barely even looks pregnant even though she is more then half way along.
"True. I wonder if she is though. I mean that would be a lot of work for those two but I think they would be happy to know they have a child they created together." I tell him as we sway in the hammock.
I rest my head on his chest and close my eyes relaxing with him. "Soon sweet babies." I whisper rubbing my belly. I still couldn't believe we are going to be parents and to twins none the less.
Todd“Technically speaking we don’t know baby. I mean if she is I bet she’s just scared and especially because they’re going into parenthood before they’re dealing with a pregnancy. And I’m sure that she doesn’t want Beast to worry about it yet.” I tell her just rocking away with her.
Not to mention it took a lot for their relationship with Percy to heal after it ending almost badly. Percy came over about a week ago to take Damian and Beast out on a fishing trip or something like that I guess.
We sway when I looked at Rae coming out and tending to her own little herb garden that she started when her powers started fluxing
Kit"I know but still... I want them to have a happy ending. They deserve it." I tell him as we rock together in the hammock. Things were looking up for them and I wanted them to end up happy. After all those two had been through, we were all rooting for them.
Rae comes out to tend to her herb garden. Her latest hobby since she couldn't really use her powers and Damian didn't want her going out on missions.
I groan a little clutching my stomach as the babies kick yet again. "Jeez they are really acting up today." I say drawing his hand over to felt their kicks. "They must know they are going to have a lot of leg room to kick here soon."
ToddI looked back at her and when she tells me that our babies were really kicking at her. She guides my hand to touch her and sure enough there’s that little kick.
“Well you’re pretty far along baby. I mean you’re so round and our babies are just bundles of energy.” I whispered to her. Lightly kissing her cheek and just lightly rubbing her stomach to try and soothe her.
Rae was going on ahead and slipping into her glass garden house and it looks like Damian is letting her. Have some space to walk around a little.
KitHe whispers I am pretty far along and that I am so round and our babies are just bundles of energy. "Hmm wonder were they got that from." I tease as he kisses my cheek and lightly rubs my stomach. I sigh resting against him, hoping they would calm for a bit.
Rae works in her garden. I'm surprised not to see Damian with her but I am sure him and the others are figuring out how to keep the new baby safe from whoever Terra was working with. Hopefully they won't have too much trouble getting the baby back here.
TyI don’t know how long we were in the delivery room. I mean they let Beast in because they somehow got Terra to agree to have him there. It was either that or a full in detail of security watching her give birth. For the hours that passed I manage to get another pregnancy test. But from one of the nurses and there was another positive.
Oh god this is too much. I don’t think I can tell him right now. I shove the paper in my pocket and wait for the news. We already filled out the paper work and everything.
Finally a nurse comes to me and tells me the baby boy is born.
BeastHours past before there is finally a cry of the baby. The nurse cleans up the baby boy and passes him to me. I look at the little guy in awe as he looks up at me. Bright blue eyes like Dick and Todd, jet black hair like Jamie and his little ears were pointed like mine. His skin tan in nature a splash of freckles across his nose.
He was so cute. He looks at me with wide eyes and cries a little fussing. A nurse passes me a bottle and shows me how to feed him. I ask her if Ty can come in now. I wanted her to meet our son.
TyI am taken back when the nurse tells me that Beast wanted me with him. I bite my lip not really knowing what to say but my body just naturally moved on its own. I walked until I was taken to the private nursery room where Beast was standing. He looked back at me and honestly.
One glance at the baby and my heart was slightly sinking and slipping a beat. He was just so beautiful and I just felt this attachment towards him somehow.
“Have you named him?”
BeastShe comes in and she takes one look at the baby. No doubt the little guy captures her heart like he did mine. She asks me if I named him yet. I shake my head a little still feeding him the bottle.
"Not yet. I thought we could do it together." I say with a little smile. He finishes his bottle and I set it down to burp him. He gives a little burp and seems content after that. "I know this is all really messed up with Terra and all this DNA mixing but I can't help but think he is precious." I tell her.
I look up at her. "Do you want to hold him?"
TyI smiled a little seeing the baby boy and just reached out to lightly touch his cheek when Beast tells me that this whole baby dna mix up has been tough.
"He is so gorgeous." I whispered to him when he asks me if i wanted to hold him.
"Yes of course, he's my son." I tell him when i take him in my arms. His eyes open and look at mine and he gives me this grin before he closes his eyes and snuggles in my arms. I didn't even realize that i was crying when i held him
"What names were you thinking?"
BeastShe whispers he is so gorgeous and tells me of course she wants to hold him since he is her son. I pass him to her and it is the cutest thing ever as he grins and snuggles into her arms. Tears roll down her cheeks and I hug them both to me.
She asks what names I was thinking of. "I like the name Oliver, maybe Miles." I tell her and kiss her wet cheek. "How about you, mama? Any names you are fond of?"
TyI bite my lip a little giggling when he kisses my wet cheek and tells me his opinions on what the names should be. It kind of makes me happy and i do like one of the names that he offered.
"I think MIles sounds perfect." I whispered to him when i held little Miles in my arms and he seems like he was falling asleep. Then we hear a little ringing.
"Oh i think that's my phone, can you get it babe?" I asked him
BeastShe bites her lip and giggles a little. She whispers she thinks Miles sounds perfect. She holds Miles close to her as he start to fall asleep. Her phone starts to ring and she asks me if I can get it.
"Sure, mama." I tell her as I grab her cell and answer it. "Hello?"
TyI hear a panicked Dick saying that Star's water broke that they were heading to the private hospital right now. My eyes widened but i wasn't surprised i mean that woman was ready to pop like hell!
I still hold Miles in my arms when Dick tells Beast that they'll be there in ten minutes that the rest of the group stayed home, but last he heard that Kit was trying to come with them too.
"Oh well we're still here, I guess we'll see them when we do." I tell Beast.
BeastDick tells us that Star's water broke and they are on the way to a private hospital. I wasn't really surprised since Star was due any day now. He tells us they'll be there in ten minutes no one had come with them but it sounded like Kit was trying to come with them.
"Alright, you two be safe. We'll try to come visit when we can." I tell him since we were here with Miles. I hang up and shake my head. "Guess it is a baby day." I say with a little laugh.
Ty"About baby day." I whispered to him, i saw that he was really happy and that there's this look of relief knowing that the baby was ours and that Terra wasn't going to hurt the baby ever. I started thinking about pregnancy and keeping it a secret.
"Beast there's something i have to tell you." I said taking out the paper from behind my pocket when i go ahead and give him the paper saying that i was pregnant. When all of a sudden code blue started being blurted out.
"Mr. Beast Terra is crashing." They tell him and honestly i pale. WOah what? she's dying?!
"Go." I tell him
BeastShe whispers about baby day and tells me she has to tell me something. She takes out a paper and hands it to me right as someone calls out code blue. A nurse tells me that Terra is crashing.
I look at them in shock. She was dying? I mean I hate her for what she did to me... but I would never wish for her to die. Ty tells me to go and I look at her torn.
I draw her to me and kiss her softly. "Watch over Miles until I get back." I whisper and take off with the nurse to go see what is happening with Terra. I tuck the paper Ty gave me in my pocket. I would look at it later when I had a chance.
TyI gulped a little so scared right now, I mean sure he told me to stay with Miles but this was killing me. She's hurt us all so much but i didn't wish her dead at all. I hold Miles in my arms and just shake my head and just hold him to me. Not wanting him to get hurt by this.
I see a team again rushing over when i hear someone call out for a crash cart. I couldn't help but hear with my listening skills when i hear someone say.
"She's lost too much blood, heart's not beating. Adrenaline." I hear doctors shouting orders but time stops for me... when i hear them call out time of death.
BeastI watch helplessly as they all try to work on her. They call for a crash cart and they are trying to save her but there is so much blood. The doctor says she has lost too much blood and her heart is not beating.
Everything happens so fast and next thing I know they are calling out time of death. She was gone... It hurt more then I thought it would. Standing there, seeing her lifeless on the bed as they pull a sheet over her.
The nurse tells me their sorry but they did everything they could to save her. I nod and thank them for doing what they could. I walk back to Ty and Miles. I hug them both to me, I hardly even noticed the tears rolling down my cheeks.
"She's gone. She's really gone." I get out in a shaky breath.
TyI didn't know how to react right now, I didn't want Miles to not ever see his mother. I mean there was this hidden hope in me that Terra would right her wrongs, that everything she would say while she was pregnant wouldn't be true. That we'll learn to forgive her hurt and her venom as long as she thought of Miles well being.
All i could do was look at baby MIles and he's sleeping peacefully, i wanted him to have a better legacy than what Terra left for him. I see Beast coming to me and i just leaned into him.
"Its okay baby... it's okay... she's not hurting anymore." I whispered to him just trying to console him
BeastShe leans into me and whispers it is okay and she isn't hurting anymore. I bury my face against her neck. "I know... I know she wasn't a good person and she did a lot of stuff to hurt everyone... but I never wanted her to die." I whisper.
I look at Miles and think how he'll never know her even if he wanted too. I always hoped that maybe she would come around and realize that it wasn't right to use the baby as a weapon. That he deserved better then that. That would never happen know though but Ty and me would be there to raise him. The others would help too and that was the important part. Miles would grow up loved.
Ty“I know baby. I know. I always had hope in her and... I’m so sorry for your loss baby.” I whispered to him and just nuzzled myself closer to him. Damn this was all just a moment of hurt and just betrayal and now it turned into a simple sorrow. It hurt my heart but we’ll find a way for Miles to have a good memory or something of her.
I was feeling a little faint here. I pushed away a little and went to sit down on one of the big couches. And just tried to breathe in and out.
BeastShe tells me she knows and she head always had hope in her and she was sorry for my loss. She nuzzles herself closer to me as I hold her close. She pushes away after a few more seconds and goes to sit down.
"You okay, mama?" I ask her going to sit with her. I sit down next to her and remember she wanted to tell me something before all the craziness happened. I pull out the paper from my pocket and uncrumple it.
I read over it and look at her surprised. "Your pregnant?" I say in shock.
TyI was a little light headed and all of a sudden I kind of knew how all the girls felt. Damn I don’t know I think the dizzy spells are really scary when I see Beast actually coming to my side immediately. I take his hand in mine and just see him taking out the paper I got.
I didn’t want him to find out after this loss but he just read it and he’s just looking at me shocked.
“I know it’s a lot and I honestly didn’t think that we weren’t careful. I mean I never missed my elixirs and I... I didn’t want you to find out after this tragedy.” I whispered to him
BeastShe tells me she knows it is a lot and didn't think we weren't careful. That we were plenty safe but she didn't want me to find out after all that happened today.
"Of course I would want to know, Ty. Regardless of what happened." I tell her and hug her to me kissing her head as I hold her. It really sinks in and I smile a little. "We're going to have a baby! I mean we have one but one that was made by you and me. Miles is going to be an older brother!" I say happy to hear the news of her pregnancy.
At least today wasn't a complete loss. Miles was healthy and safe and my girl and I had another baby on the way.
TyI squeal a little bit when he picks me up and hugs me after I had put Miles down to sleep. He seemed so happy by the news and it really did warm my heart. Seeing him that he was just tearing up and kissing me here and there.
“We’re having a baby. Another baby.” I smiled leaning in and kissing his lips. Making sure that he was okay and that Miles was just healthy. I start hearing Star screaming in the hall that it hurt me.
BeastShe squeals a little and puts Miles down as I hold her to me. She smiles saying we are having a baby, another baby. She kisses me and I kiss her back with a smile. I wince as we hear screaming.
"Sounds like Star is here. I'm sure Dick is having fun with that." I say shaking my head. I kiss my girl's head and make sure Miles is okay. The little guy is fast asleep.
Ty“Damn I really think that we’re all pretty retired when it comes to being Titans.” I tell him and just looked back down at Miles. He really looked so at peace. So innocent to know anything and the weird experiment he was forced upon.
But we are going to love him and raise him and show him what family is about. The nurse comes and of course has Beast sign the birth certificate and there’s this grim note when we see mother deceased on his birth certificate and her name.
I just stayed behind hearing her screams fade.
“Maybe we should go and see if Kit and Todd made it here.”
(Crashing for the night)Beast
She says that she thinks we are all pretty retired when it comes to being titans. "Eh I wouldn't say that per say. I think some of us will still do things but nothing like before." I tell her.
A nurse comes in with the birth certificate for me to sign. I pause for a moment seeing Terra's name on there and that she was deceased. I sigh and sign my name for the father before I go back to my girl.
She says we should go see if Kit and Todd made it hear. "Sure, I'm sure they want to make sure Star is okay. Not to mention Kit is in the same boat. She's suppose to be due too soon." I say gently scooping up Miles to carry with us. I didn't want to let him out of my sight until I knew we were safe at home.
TyI kind of wanted to carry Miles but these dizzy spells weren't treating me well right now. And the last thing i want was for my baby to fall in my arms. Then what if he slips out of my arms? Oh no i don't want any kind of hurt against my own baby. We walk until we were out in the waiting room.
Where Dick was out trying to take a breather. He looked so nervous when he looked at us and smiled.
"Oh thank heavens you're alright! Star is only three inches dilated so it's still a long road ahead of us." He groans but at least we knew the process of it.
Todd
i didn't want my woman to move around when she really doesn't need to. The doctor never really specified that she couldn't move around that much. But she is ready to pop and in my head i don't know why i thought that she could squat and out the babies come like a chicken hen. When i knew that's not how it works but i was just antsy.
I help her get dressed when she walks away to get herself another pair of clothes when i see a puddle of water where she walked out.
"Uh baby... you okay?" I asked her
BeastDick sees us as we come out to the waiting room and smiles telling us he was glad we are alright. He adds that Star is going good but still has a ways to go.
"Yeah, I know the feeling." I tell him nodding to the sleeping baby Miles. "Say hello to our newest member." I whisper with a little smile.
Kit
I know Jason doesn't want me up and moving but I wanted to be there for Star as support since the others stayed behind. Rae, Damian, Beetle and his girl where going to stay behind to take care of the tower and make sure things are set for the babies.
I head in to grab another pair of clothes in case we have to stay overnight for Star. I groan a little as I walk out and feel wetness roll down my legs.
Jason asks me if I am okay. "Eh... I think my water just broke." I say and groan again as I feel a contraction. "Yea, definitely my water broke."
ToddI am literally by her side when she groans and all of a sudden she’s saying that her water broke. Woah I knew that the babies were moving around a lot. Didn’t think that they were working to get born! I try not to freak out when I start rubbing my woman’s back trying to soothe her as best as I could.
“Okay baby lets just calm down. We’re ready for this. Let me grab the baby bag and just start counting the minutes between the contractions.” I rubbed her back one more time before I went to grab our carry out bag and baby bag.
It’s been a good six months. The first three months we stayed over at the beach house. But then they were able to rebuild the Titans tower and moderate the security system especially when we have Star already at her full term. Ready to pop at any minute.
