"Well, technically i have a pretty healthy liver. Even after we joined our health status my liver is good and is strong enough to be able to tolerate my twenties of drinking." I explained to her and just lean in to steal her lips a little when i see Ty falling again and making a huge splash in the water.

Thankfully we didn't get hit. Everyone was still iffy about her. But honestly my tingling sensations weren't vibing around her. So she's pretty squeaky clean in my point of view.

"We need to get Damian out of that room. It's not healthy."

Kit

He tells me he has a pretty healthy liver and leans down to capture my lips again. I kiss him back and then hear a loud splash. We glance over to see Ty crash into the water causing a big wave of water. Luckily we don't get wet.

I glance up as he mention Damian. "I know but he refuses to leave her side. I don't know what else we can do short of knocking him out and tying him up at the kitchen table." I tell him with a little sigh.

Todd

"Why on earth is that a bad idea? I have some tranqulizer pins that would work wonders for him." I tell her and just smiled when i saw Ty swimming on over to us and she kind of lept up and landed in front of us taking off her clothes and just staying in her underwear.

"She really has zero knowledge of decency like Star." i tell Kit and Ty looks over at us and beams smiling at us.

"What about wonders? Star said she wanted to do a putlock for me." She says smiling.

Kit

I roll my eyes. "We are not knocking him out, Todd. Besides that would just piss him off when he wakes up." I tell him as Ty swims over and strips down to her underwear. Todd says she really has zero knowledge of decency like Star.

"Mmm maybe it is a flying thing. People who fly don't mind be half naked." I say with a little chuckle. Ty looks over at us. She tells us that Star wasn't to have a potluck for her.

"Doesn't surprise me at all but hey everyone could probably use the moral boost."

Todd

“Yeah well he needs some food as well. I mean he’s been locked up in that room for way too longs. I swear I think the only thing he has eaten in the past three days is maybe a pierce of bread that Star managed to convince him to eat.” I tell my girl when we just kind of thought it was an okay idea to make a put lock

“I think she always does that for new people. She did that to Lit and we had food for a while before we had to cook again.” I said and just shrugged it off.

“Sure why not eat until our faces are sore of eating.” I teased the new girl and she automatically touches her cheeks.

Kit

"We'll have to try and convince him so he'll eat something." I tell him and chuckle a little as he says he thinks she does that for every new person to join the team. "Mmm I think it is an excuse to pig out on food." I say playfully.

I snuggle into his chest a little as he teases the new girl and she touches her cheeks. "He's joking, kiddo. Though you might get an upset stomach if you eat too much."

Todd

“Or if you eat Stars cooking you might just get the stomach flu and be out for an entire week.” I cautioned her and I can see Dick glaring at me. Hearing that I was talking about Stars cooking. I’m sorry but the last time I ate her porridge I had to respectfully disappear for a few days.

“Well do you think that maybe Damián could join us? I mean it just seemed weird that we’re all eating and he’s not. Is Raven... like his mate?” She whispered and I scoffed a bit. damn Amazonian culture can be a little dense or air headed about our culture or whatever.

Kit

Todd warns her she might get the stomach flu and be out for an entire week if you eat Star's cooking. Grayson glares at him a little. Ty asks about Damian joining us and if Raven is his mate.

I chuckle a little and shake my head. "We don't have mates here on earth. I mean some people believe in soul mates but that is a different thing. Anyway, Raven and Damian are boyfriend and girlfriend. When you like someone a whole lot you can decide to date them." I explain to her.

"Not everyone on earth chooses a mate for the purpose of creating new life. Some of us just enjoy having someone in our lives. Others need each other to find balance." I say squeezing Todd's hand softly.

Todd

I looked at my Kit when she tells Ty that here on our world that we don’t have mates for the reason of just creating life. She holds my hand when she goes on about relationships and I kissed her cheek. Ty looks at us and she looks a little confused by it all.

“We’re mates. And yeah she is his mate.” I tell her and you can see Ty kind of understanding it a little bit more.

“Why don’t you go and convince Damian to come to eat for your putlock then.” I tell her and I helped Kit and walked over to our kitchen where Star was trying to start cooking when Dick helped to just take over the kitchen.

Kit

Todd kisses my cheek and Ty looks at us a little confused. He just tells her that we are mate and Raven is Damian's mate. She seems to get that and he tells her to go try and convince Damian to come eat for her potluck.

He helps me up and walks with me to the kitchen were Star was trying to cook. Grayson thankfully takes over. "You think she'll be able to convince him?" I ask him feeling kind of bad to leave the new girl to do it.

Damian refused to leave Raven's side. The most he would do is shower and go to the bathroom because we made him promise he would or we would start forcing him to get out of there.

Todd

I looked over at Kit when she asked me if we were being tough on the newbie for assigning her to Damián. I just shrugged my shoulder a bit. “She’s a rookie she gets assigned the harder parts. But even then she has wonderwomans strength and trained with the Amazonian. I’m sure she’ll be able to drag his ass out.” I tell her grinning a bit.

I doubt that Damián would lay a hand on a girl that is basically his age and is like a new born puppy I swear.

Kit

He shrugs his shoulders and tells me that she is the rookie so she gets assigned to the harder parts. But even then she has wonder woman's strength and trained with the Amazonian so he is sure she’ll be able to drag his ass out.

I roll my eyes a little at his grin. "Hopefully, though he might be pissed at her for doing it." I tell him and ask. "Do you think we should go tell Beast boy? He's been sulking in his room since we got here."

I looked back at Kit when she rolls her eyes as at me and I go to her. Leaning in to kiss her cheek then nip at her neck a little bit. Just wanting to tease her a little when I just pulled away and wrote down on the grocery list. Bottles of whiskey or scotch!

“Well Raven wouldn’t want him to be only stuck by her side. She’s want him to be healthy and interact with us. And don’t worry I bet Ty can go get him too.” I tell her rubbing her back.

Kit

He looks back at me and leans over to kiss my cheek before he nips at my neck a little. I blush a little and he pulls away to write something down on the grocery list.

He tells me Raven wouldn't want Damian stuck by her side and that she would want to be healthy and interact with us. He adds that Ty can probably grab Beast boy too. He rubs my back and I rest my head against his chest.

"I know she wouldn't but I can't blame you. I mean wouldn't you do the same if something like that happened to me. I know I wouldn't want to leave you if you were like that."

Todd

“Of course I wouldn’t leave your side. First and for most Beast wouldn’t be walking around nor would he breathing normally after I was done with him. But then I’d apologize for almost killing him knowing that you wouldn’t be okay with it. Then I’d be by your side.” I tell her knowing that I probably talked a lot there when Dick tries to urge Star to stray from the desert.

“Mmm I think I’d want you to at least mingle with everyone. I mean I’ll be in a coma sleeping wouldn’t want you to develop a trend in talking to yourself.” I explained to her.

Ty

I was a little scared I mean. I haven’t dealt with Damián or his mate at all I’ve only heard about them for what my teammates say about them. I gulped a little walking on in and just seeing him right by her side.

“Uh Damián... Star is making a potluck for my welcome to the group. We all really think that you should come down and eat with us. You know talk with us?”

Kit

He tells me of course he wouldn't leave my side and if anything Beast boy wouldn't be walking around nor would he breathing normally. I smile a little hearing he would apologize though because he knows that I wouldn't be okay with him beating him up.

"Mmm good boy." I whisper playfully and peck his lips. "I am sure you would but I would be wreck. I'd want to stay with you until I knew you were going to be okay."

Damian

I glance up as the new girl comes in. She tells me that Star is making a potluck for her welcome to the group and says they all think I should come down to eat. I frown a little.

"I'm fine. I really rather stay here." I say glancing back at Raven. It had been three days since she had been hurt.

Todd

I smiled back at her and I leaned in to give her nice soft kiss back before I started marinating the ribs and just listened to her tell me she’d be wrecked. I touch her hand and just lightly kissed her again not wanting to get BBQ on her as of yet.

“Welll I appreciate you wanting to love me til the end but I want you to be able to live and be healthy.” I whispered to her and just lightly tapped her nose with mine.

Ty

I bite my lip not knowing what to say but. This cannot be healthy I mean my mother always taught me to grieve for my fallen sisters by honoring their memory. I go ahead and stand next to him and I try again.

“I don’t know what it is to be in your position but I’d think she’d want you to take care of yourself. You haven’t talked to anyone except for grunts and nos. I think if the roles were reversed you’d want her to be comforted by everyone.” I tell him.

Kit

I sigh a little. "I know but it would be hard. I'd hate to see you like that and feel so helpless that I couldn't do anything to help." I say and rest my forehead against his for a moment. He meant the world to me and it had been a while since I had something I really cared about.

Damian

She tells me that she doesn't know what it is like to be in my position but she thinks that Raven would want me to take care of myself. That if the roles were reversed I would want her to be comforted by everyone.

I sigh, rubbing my face a little. "I know... I just don't want to leave her." I say quietly. I was so afraid that if I took my eyes off her that she would disappear from my life. That something would happen and she would never wake up.

Ty

It really swayed me seeing a man just look so heart broken and yet so in love with a woman. I’ve read about it in Shakespeare’s poems sonnets and plays. And other authors as well but I never thought that the act would bring me close to tears.

“We’re in a safe place. Damián she’s just sleeping and you’ll see she’ll wake up. But how do you think she’ll feel when she finds out you haven’t been taking care of yourself properly?” I whispered to him looking at the girl my age that looked so beautiful sleeping and just lightly hovering above her bed.

Damian

She tells me we are in a safe place and that she is just sleeping. That she would wake up and when she did she would probably be upset that I didn't take care of myself.

I sigh a little. "Alright, I'll come eat." I tell her and get up from my chair. I lean over to kiss Raven's forehead. "I'll be back." I whisper to her.

Ty

I clapped a little excited that i was able to convince him to come join us... now i have to go and talk to Beast. "Thank you, don't worry you can mingle with us for fifteen minutes tops, eat one plate and you can come back to her." I said to her with a smile right now.

I walk over down the hall and i tried to just not get that scared when i knocked on the door. "Beast? It's Ty... can i come in?"

Beast

I hear a knock at my door and I crack it open to see the new girl. She asks if she can come in and I nod before opening the door a little more for her. I go back over to my bed and flop down onto it, covering my eyes with my arm.

[RED]

Ty

I didn't know how to approach him before when i go over to the side of his bed and i bite my lip. I tried my best to keep calm and try to find the words he might need to hear,

"We're having a potluck? Damian is coming down to eat with us all? We really want you there Beast?" I whispered to him trying to be as warm as possible.

[Gemma]

Beast

She comes over to my bed and whispers that they are having a potluck. Damian is coming down to eat with them all and they all want me there too. I sigh a little and move my arm to look up at the ceiling.

"I doubt Damian wants me there after all that happened and the fact that Raven is still in a coma." I mumble softly.

[RED]

Ty

I bite my lip and just think of a way to get through to this man. "You know i've heard a lot of stuff about you. Like you changing forms into animals? Like you being a total foodie." I tell him trying to be friendly when i just pause a bit.

"Your friends miss you and they know it wasn't your fault... I kind of want to know my teammate as well." I tell him

Beast

She tells me she has heard a lot of stuff about me like that I am a total foodie. I chuckle a little. "Well as foodie as a guy who is a vegetarian can be." I tell her.

She tells me that my friends miss me and that they know it wasn't my fault. "But it was... I hurt her." I mumble softly. She tells me she wants to get to know me as well.

"I guess I could eat." I say with a weak smile.

Ty

"Hey you can still eat casseroles or other tofu stuff you know." I said scrunching up my nose a bit. I'm a meat girl i loved the thrill of the hunt and eating of the meat. I smiled just a little bit when he tells me that he'll go eat a little bit and i beamed

"They've forgiven you Beast, and you need to learn to forgive yourself as well." I tell him reaching out and offering him my hand.

Beast

She tells me I can still eat casseroles or other tofu stuff and scrunches up her nose a little. She smiles as I tell her I'll come eat. She tells me that they have forgiven me and I needed to forgive myself as well. She holds out a hand to me and I take it as I get up.

"That might take time." I tell her and walk with her to kitchen.

Todd

I was out in the grill doing some BBQ because who wouldn't enjoy a good BBQ of course after we've all had a good day. And it would benefit me using my pyro maniac a little bit for something productive.

I finally see Damian downstairs and soon after i see Beast downstairs.

"Wow Ty, i should send you to get people more often in the future." I said going ahead and placing burgers and ribs down.

Kit

I am surprised to see Damian and Beast boy both coming downstairs. Todd tells Ty he should send her to go get people more often in the future. I nod a little in agreement since she did manage to get them down.

"She did manage short of a miracle there." I tell him with a little smile as he grills up some food.

Todd

"Yeah definitely a miracle." I tell her and i hold my hand out and wrap it around Kit's waist when i look over at Damian and hand him over a nice juicy burger and some baked potato.

"Come on buddy, talk to us. How are you feeling?" I asked him wondering a bit if he has been eating right has he been getting nightmares

Damian

Todd hand me a burger and a bake potato before he says to talk to them and asks how I am feeling. "Like shit." I mumble taking the plate of food and set it down at the outdoor table.

"Aww come here." Kit says and hugs me to her. I freeze for a moment before I sigh and hug her back. She strokes my head a little as she holds me to her. "I know, kiddo. It sucks but she is going to pull through this. We are all rooting for her." She says softly and I nod a little.

Todd

"Yeah i mean she's a tough chick, and she has someone to live for." I tell him just wanting to give emotional support but not the whole hugging bro thing. That's just weird. I see Ty offering Beast some of the rice balls that Dick made for Beast.

Damn the whole vegetarian thing must really be a bitch sometimes. I flip on the tofu burger and make a face. "This is no way to live man" I said flipping them when i turned around and i see a plate clatter.

Star was looking shocked when i follow what she sees and I see Raven there, scared out of her mind her eyes scarlet red.

"Rae you're okay!" Star exclaims but my instincts are kicking in.

"Star dont!" DIck calls out to her but Raven waves her hand and her power wall flicks Star away as she stands in a defensive manner.

"Who are you! Where the hell am i!" She hissed

Damian

A plate clatters and I look up to see Raven. She looked terrified and her eyes were glowing red. Star exclaims that she is okay but Grayson calls out to her as Raven waves her hands. She sends out a wave of power that knocks Star away.

Raven seems confused and hisses who are you and where is she. I pull away from Kit and steps towards her slowly holding up my hands.

"We are your friends, Raven. You are safe." I tell her calmly trying to keep her calm. Her powers could get out of control when she was emotional.

[RED]

Todd

I could use the damn BBQ pincers as a weapon there was no doubt about that. I placed myself in front of Kit but i also didn't want a freaking demon princess to go off on all of us because she sees i have a murderous intent right now.

Raven turns her head all over the place looking at us but... she doesn't seem to recognize any of us. Ty on the other hand is on her feet but she was stepping back not wanting to heat up the situation.

"Who are you all? You work for my father?" Her hands are still defensive and honestly i was just worried Damian was going to get hurt!

"Friends? I don't know any of you." She snaps at him but her eyes go from red to black. Well at least she's not demon princess right now

Kit

Todd moves in front of me and I grip his arm softly as we all freeze watching Raven. She seems to not recognize any of us. She asks who we are and if we work her for her father. She snaps at Damian and I think we are all worried she might hurt him.

"Look at me, Raven. I know you are an empathy. Am I lying to you right now?" He says not backing down from where he stands. "We are all your friends and none of us work for your father." He tells her.

I really hope he can get through to her. That she doesn't lose it and hurt him. It was be so heartbreaking to see him wait all this time for her to wake up only to have her not remember him at all.

Todd

Oh god i think everyone is holding their breaths right now, because this could get ugly and heart breaking real quick if Damian doesn't play it safe and if Raven decides to just break loose right now. I didn't even want to look at Beast right now

There's this moment of silence when Raven looks at Damian and she doesn't understand how he knows that. But she looks around again and this time she examines almost every single one of us. Until she zeroes in on me and she glares.

"Why is he blood thirsty?" She asked on edge and i literally drop the damn pincers and just raise my hands.

"Side effect of Lazarus Pitt, blood thirst is very present in me always." I tell her and she i guess senses that i wasn't lying and her eyes start to go to their normal color but she still has her hands up

Kit

She looks at him confused on how he knows that and then looks around at us before she narrows in on Todd. She asks why he is so blood thirsty and he drops the pincers, raising his hands up. He explains it is a side effect and she seems to accept that.

"No one is going to hurt you. I can promise you that." Damian says softly as he takes another small step towards her. "How about we all sit down and have a talk to explain what is going on? You obviously have some memory loss."

Ty

I didn't want to make things worse because i was definitely a stranger right now, and i don't think it was going to be welcoming for her right now. She looks at Damian and... i felt so bad for him this is a lot right now. I don't know how he's taking it in so well right now.

Raven looks at him and it's like their eyes finally lock and she seems to be lowering down her hands. Star comes back out with books of albums and she looks at Raven

"We come in peace... it's a lot but we won't lie... and we have burgers?" Star offers and you could tell that food is probably working she hasn't eaten in almost a week. I'd be starving. She carefully takes a seat and Dick brings her a plate of food. Everyone looked like they were walking around egg shells.

Damian

Raven's eyes lock with mine and she lowers down her hands as she seems to calm a little. Star comes back with some albums of photos and tells her we come in peace. That she knows it is a lot but we won't lie and we have burgers.

She seems to respond to that and she takes a seat as Grayson brings her a plate of food. Everyone is careful not to spook her. I sigh a little and sit down at the table to eat as well.

Kit scoots Todd and Beast boy out of here which at the moment might be the best thing. The less possible problem people we have here right now might be for the best. Todd's blood thirst could bring up her defensives and Beast boys guilt might have her on edge.

Raven

I didn't know what to say or what to think. I mean i was sensing a lot of things. One green man sensed way too guilty and it made wonder why. That blood thirst was... slightly intoxicating it made me light headed. I looked down at the plate and i gave a tentative bite of the burger.

The flavors of the meat and cheese it was so delicious did that blood thirsty man really make this? I looked over at this older boy. His eyes never left mine and i sensed.... so much emotion coming from him... it was warm and yet... it was sad... heart break?

"Your name is Raven but i think you've figured that out." This alien woman comes to me and opens an album of pictures.

"i am aware of who I am. I don't recall meeting any of you." I tell her quite cold matter when she opens the book and shows me pictuers...thats me!

Damian

I watch her as she eats. God it hurt to see her have no clue who we are. She has no clue we are her friends, what I am to her. Star tells her that he name is Raven and opens the albums to show her the photos of all us.

She tells her that she remembers who she is but she doesn't recall meeting any of us. She looks at the book curiously and the shock shows as she sees her in the pictures with us.

"You have meet us, Raven. We have all known each other a while now but you got hurt and now you don't seem to remember that." I tell her.

Raven

I let my hands wander over the pictures, it was really me i looked younger than who i am right now. How long have i spent with these people? I flip the page and just see... them celebrating a birthday of mine? It was pictures of us all just spending time right now.

I looked up at the blue eyes guy when he tells me I've met them. I've bonded with them. I flipped a page when i see him finally in one of the pictures.... why am i curious about him?

"i got hurt?" I said looking at him and then at the alien girl. I then remember the green boy and his guilt that seeped out of him.

"That green... he hurt me?" I asked no one wanted to look at me right now but i turned to look at the blue eyed boy thinking he'd tell me the truth

Damian

She flips through the album looking at the pictures. She says she got hurt and looks at us. She asks if Beast boy was the one that hurt her and everyone looks away not wanting to have to tell her that. She looks at me and I sigh.

"Yes, but he didn't mean too. He got upset at me and we were fighting. You tried to get between us and you got hurt pretty bad." I tell her truthfully. Beast boy really didn't mean to do it and I wanted her to know at least that much. Sure I was still kind of pissed at him but I knew he would never hurt her on purpose.

Raven

I didn’t say anything when at least the blue eyes guy told me the truth. That it was all kind of like a big accident and now I didn’t remember anyone. I looked back at the album and just stared at every single one of the pictures.

“Maybe it’s a little late to introduce ourselves but maybe it’ll help. My names Starfire but you can call me Star. This...” she taps on a mans shoulder that hasn’t stopped looking at me. I sensed worry.

“This is Dick Grayson. And he’s Damián Wayne. The green young man his name is Beast Boy. And the tanner gentleman we call him Beetle.” She tells me their names but it’s still all new to me.

Damian

She looks back at the album and Star tries to reintroduce everyone to her. It felt so strange to have to do this when just a few days ago she knew us all well. She knew me well and not there was nothing. Just a blank slate for her.

"The other two who left are Allison Kittredge but she goes by Kit and Jason Todd. They are the newer additions to the team minus our newest addition, Ty." I say nodding over to Ty. "You were becoming good friends with Kit though."

Raven

I looked at everyone and I just needed to take a step back. I looked at the picture where all of them are there. The girl Kit is kissing that Todd guy. Star and Dick are cuddling and right in the middle there’s the rest of us. I was in the middle of Beast and Damián and yet. I was closer to Damián.

I excused myself if the table and walked out of the cabin. I needed a moment right now. When I went to the dock and just sat there. Looking at the picture. Just wondering.

Damian

She looks at the picture will all of us in it together. It was probably taken about a month ago. We had just started getting more comfortable at being public with our relationship since Beast boy had seemed to move on.

Raven excuses herself and walks out of the cabin down to the docks. I sigh and rest my head in my hands for moment trying to not lose it right now. It hurt so damn much. To not have her remember anything about us. To not remember me. I sat around for days hoping she would wake up and now that she was up, it hurt more then sitting there waiting for her.
