@Nicole how is the reading going? No books posted yet and we are 1/3 through the month so thought it might be a good itdea to see if everything is alright on the reading front.And just a reminder to everyone that Sarah is tracking how many books we are reading. We do have to read a minimum of8 books each by the end of the month! So to be on track we should all have at least 2 books finished each by now and a good chunk through a third book.
I have three novels in progress right now plus working on some manga.
How is everyone else doing?
I should have a third book done soon, then hopefully things will move faster as I get more used to my school work load!Still waiting for tides of war :(

I do want to read art books for uni but most of them have pictures and I am not sure how many points I will get for those.

Hey, sorry for my lack of checking in! Reading should be back full blast! My boyfriend had his wisdom teeth removed and his mom came to visit so was a busy week.

Also Can anyone explain me how this buddy read works? I am totally new to this. I read total 13 books in August and 3 in sept. You can check on my profile if you need.
Buddy Reads are where you team up with 1 or more members of this group and agree to read a book together. You set a start date and then check the threads to see if there is a thread for that book, if so link it the request. For this month once you have a buddy and book you go here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... and ask Sarah or Abbie to finish setting it up and adding it to the calendar. This folder has October ready too and a new one will be there for each new month. You can also jump in on any current buddy read that others set up. Within the buddy read (BR) you must make at least 4 comments about the book, your thoughts as you progress, etc. You can start a book up to 7 days before the buddy date or 14 days after the last relevant book comment. Ask for Buddy reads within your team or on these threads. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... Also feel free to respond to others requests. :)
Ok.. I am starting Harry Potter Series from 1st Oct with Danni. She have created a folder. So I will have to update my book reviews in the October 2018 Buddy Reads Correct?
And also need to update daily status in Harry Potter folder correct?
If Danni already has the thread date set request in with Sarah and Abbie all you have to do is go to that series thread and make comments on each book as you read them within the allowed time frames. Be sure to still write a review. When you finished the book, comments and review post links to both on the team review thread. So if you start in Oct there you will use the team review thread for whatever team you are on at that time. If you look at our teams review thread you can see how we link both the review and buddy thread to our posts. :)
Ohh.. Thanks. And Do I need to inform sarah about adding me in Oct Team? Or she will add me as I am from Aug Team Member.
And from where I can request her for adding in team?
