Overall reviews/ thoughts about Cinder

I gave this book five stars but never gave a detailed review, so here it is.
I love how many books start out with an intriguing first line, such as:
"There is one mirror in my house." Divergent.
"'You've got to be kidding me' the bouncer said." City of bones.
"The demon exploded in a shower of ichor and guts." Clockwork Angel.
And i'm sure that there are many others and I can safely say that Cinder is definitely one of them.
