I have a ton of Harlequin novels just sitting around, not being read, so it'll be nice to get a few out of the way (I donate all my read books, except for the ones I wanna reread, to my local library). As for the bonus picks, Nice Dragons sounds sooooooooo good! It is very much right up my alley. The library doesn't have it, so I'll hafta grab it from Amazon. Totally worth it if it's anywhere near as good as it sounds. ^_^

So far I have read . If you've read the Kate Daniels series, you know all about Hugh D'Ambrey. It's sort of a spin-off of Kate Daniels but it's also a part of Kate Daniels.

I also read the bonus book . New author for me. I wasn't really interested in it much. Both kept secrets until a situation came up that forced them to share. And these two are supposed to be in love? Communication between them was lacking. Overall it was alright. The last chapter should have been Epilogue rather than a chapter (view spoiler)[It takes place 3 years after the story ends. (hide spoiler)]

Finished A Darker Shade of Magic today. I was disappointed in this novel. I gave it three stars for good writing style and an interesting premise, but no more than that because of the bland main characters. I really didn't care about either one of them. I don't know if I'll give the rest of this series a shot or not.
