Really impressive indeed. I deed feel sorry for Mason though :'(
Yes, if the government plans on using them, well, we've seen what they can do when they got to East River.

Lol, well I already found her annoying and I still do... And yes, of course I feel for her seeing everything she's been going through (I believe it's the first person who gets killed because of her mind tricks but I guess what she hated the most was that she tortured the man and seemed to enjoy it...) but I don't know, it's just too much (and apparently it wasn't because of the translation into Dutch cause now I'm reading in English and it is the same thing).
Yes I think Liam will remember her eventually, not only because he "loves her so much" (lol) but because it's quite difficult to erase every single memory and replace others in such a way that it all adds up. Besides a memory consist of much more than images!!

I agree, they're "at war" and sometimes that means doing things you wouldn't have otherwise, I mean come on!
Vida is growing on me too :) And Jude, well Jude is just Jude and I love him. He just wants to be a good person, to be seen and liked by the people he likes and to have the feeling that he's worth it (and don't we all?) :)

I never warmed up to jude, he annoyed me from the beginning! His abilities are awesome and he is seriously powerful for such a young kid. But his personality? Not for me 🤷

Interesting... I hadn't thought about that, just took her for a woman searching for food or something. And although it is not the person texting her, she might turn out to be of significance indeed....

It must be horrible indeed, not knowing what is real, what's not, how much you may still not remember.
As he said (and I mentioned before too), (view spoiler)

Loved the story. Ruby still annoys and irritates me. Often I don't get why she's angry or sad, other times she plays it cool and hard. It just doesn't feel real to me. I think part of the problem lies in the writing. I can't real put my finger on it (apart from the feeling I sometimes get that sentences are missing, just as I said about book 1) but it does take a little away from my liking the book. That's why I'm keeping it to 4 stars (rounded down from 4.5).

Exactly! So no confirmation possible! So that means he could have gotten away!
But maybe I just watch too much television.... or I’m still in denial lol)

Same here! Hated the end! Looks like all those short stories have sad endings :'(

(view spoiler)[Well, I guess that's what happens when fear takes over, no rational mind left. Often the ones who have suffered most, lose it when they experience a bit of power/control: it's better to control than be controlled, is what they have learned. (hide spoiler)]
