Jamie (The Perpetual Page-Turner) (perpetualpageturner) | 335 comments Any good ideas for this challenge? The only one I thought of is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society but I recently read that and I don't really feel like reading it again so soon.

Really fun book!!

Patterson has at least six co-written books.

Preston and Childs have some great thrillers.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1136 comments Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Leviathan

Jahnna N. Malcolm is really a husband and wife team. Not sure if books by them would count.

All of Kristin Cast's books are cowritten with her mother, PC Cast. (House of Night series)

Krista (kacey14) Just a clarification for this topic -- It's for task 5.8) Let's Find Out If Two Heads Really Better Than One - Read A Book That Has More Than One Author.

This is not for Donna Jo's Task, choose 2 authors that are RELATED?

Correct?

message 12: by Jennifer (new)

My Life In France by Julia Child and Alex Prud'Homme

Vancouver by David Cruise and Alison Griffiths

Yes Donna Jo's task requires two books vs. this one that requires one with two authors that can but don't have to be related.

message 14: by Natalie (new)

Natalie Many non-fiction books, especially biographies of famous poeople that are not authors by trade, are written with someone (who actually knows how to write) or have more than one author. Just a thought for anyone still looking for a book.

message 15: by Sara ♥ (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1136 comments FYI - Cynthia approved us reading a book where more than one person wrote the book under a single pseudonym, like the three Krista mentioned in message 9, above.

message 16: by Rora (last edited Aug 19, 2009 04:01PM) (new)

Rora I'm planning on reading Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer. I was supposed to read it for the summer challenge, but I don't think I'll get to it.

Perfect idea! I have been meaning to fit that in for THE LONGEST! You are awesome, Cait!

message 18: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (sureshot26) | 771 comments For those with books-about-books love, Nancy and Lawrence Goldstone have authored several books about their mutual love of book collecting. Since they're spouses, their books would also work for Donna Jo's task.

Another non-fiction option is Adrian Levy and Catherine Scott-Clark, who co-wrote The Stone of Heaven (which is about jade) and The Amber Room, about the famous lost Russian treasure.

Except for my task they would have to write books separately, not together.

message 28: by Krista (last edited Sep 01, 2009 05:06PM) (new)

Krista (kacey14) I don't know why I feel this compulsion to post to this thread... but today I found another pair of writers that have written books together. I thought I might as well share the info.

Lawrence Goldstone and Nancy Goldstone
