I have found conflicting information and I feel silly even asking, but I want to make sure! I would like to use The Piano Teacher which is set in Hong Kong. It is part of China but some info says it's independent of China. I found information that says "for official purposes, is a part of China." www.tripsavvy.com.

Could I use this as a book set in China?

Can I get a check on these two? Both list "setting" as "China", but being big books, I want to give the creator and the mods a chance to raise any objections before I start.

I haven't read either book. I have only the same information that you have - the setting as shown in the metadata and as discussed in the GR description. Based on those, they appear to work.
