Felix Jaynes is a twenty-one year old secret agent who works for the Real Life Immersion Program (a relatively unknown division of the FBI). Being completely dedicated to her work in the past, Felix had signed a contract locking her into her job position for the next ten years with no hope of having a personal life outside of her 24/7 career. However, through a strange twist of events, she has been offered an “out.” To add more complication to her grueling decision, she has fallen in love with someone and knows if she continues her contract she may never see him again. This isn’t going to be a simple decision…but she has to decide by the end of her current mission.

As usual, Felix unhealthily dives deep into her work. But this time, she wants to show that she is “fine” after having experienced a traumatic mission months before where she lost a group of team members in a series of events that she believes to be her fault. She signed a contract with the agency prior stating that she could not leave her current job for ten years unless there was an extenuating circumstance, and seeing as to how emotionally impacted Felix was, RLIP is willing to release her of her contract if she chooses to do so…but she must decide by the end of her current mission. Being a workaholic, the decision to stay would normally come easily for Felix. However, the recent circumstances have caused her to begin thinking about living life outside the binding walls of the agency. Seemingly convinced in her mind that she will continue her career as a spy, she meets Ashton Mathis; a down to Earth, breath of fresh air, simple young man who owns a grocery store in the small town where Felix has been stationed. His innocence to the dangers of the world and the fact that he is so enamored with her draws Felix in whenever she needs a break from the reality of her mission and upcoming complicated decisions. After all, he thinks she is just a nature photographer…and what is the harm in having a small friendship as long as she keeps him away from the danger? If Felix decides to continue her contract with the agency, she will lose all chances of having a normal life and family for the next several years, and will certainly never see Ashton again because of the hours and dedication that the job requires. As her partner Juro says, “If you want a life of your own, then being a part of the RLIP agency is not the right place to be.” But if she does decide to quit the agency, it will reverse all of the extenuating and sometimes excruciating work she has put into her career. Whatever she decides, she also cannot let these thoughts interfere with her current mission, which is to track down the son of two weapons designers who developed blueprints for the US government many years prior.

About the Author:
Hi, my name is Andrea Rodriguez, but I write my books under the pseudonym Andrea Hintz. I have ten self-published books and regularly guest post on websites for writers, giving writing and marketing advice for self-published authors. My books have been featured in literary magazines and several other online publications. Knowing that most agents and editors desire authors to already have a built up following of readers, I decided to self-publish my work and to build my social media fanbase while I await to be connected with my future literary agent. So far, I have been able to collect 152 book reviews/ratings on Goodreads, and my average rating is 4.99 out of 5 stars. You can see more of my statistics in the social media links below. People often ask me why my protagonists are so young yet so accomplished beyond their years. I believe in and encourage the advanced capabilities of young people in our society and want to provide amazing role models for my readers. I graduated from high school myself at the age of thirteen and started college immediately afterwards, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree and eleven Associate degrees by the time I was seventeen, so I know that anything is possible at any age.

Thank you so much for your valuable time and I look forward to hearing from you!
