Robert, I love your messages. They really make me dig deep into myself. Right now I am writing a blog on the ten commandments. Unfortunately, too many "Christian" people try to twist the commandments and the Bible to suit their needs. They don't want to be uncomfortable. Sorry, being a Christian is uncomfortable and following Jesus means having people not like you.
Thanks Sylvia... Our ministry has many free downloadable messages... Check it out...

* Others claim that the Holy Spirit told them the "real" meaning of the Scriptures (as though God has hidden truth for millennia, until these enlightened ones reveal it.)
* Still others come up with their own private interpretations.
* Some force the Bible to say what they WANT it to say.
* Amazingly, some don't even quote the Bible when they try to understand it!
God wants you to understand the Bible... more than you want to know it!
Approach the Bible as a Book that God wants to help you understand.
