@Gary - I got a Lyn Cahoon mystery this time, "Farm to Fork" series which is a newly released one. I haven't read the tourist trap or the other cozies that you've mentioned. I marked them as to-read. I read a lot of romances and I am fond of cozies with a MC who has a steady relationship going on.
Meg, I'm such a slowpoke this month! But I finally remembered to check our book pairs and saw your name after mine. I've heard of the Danger Cove mysteries here before, so I'm picking them for you. Sorry for the delay. I hope you enjoy them!
And Danielle, as you can see, I'm even further behind than you. Thanks for picking Poirot for me. I'm looking forward to getting started over the Labor Day weekend.

@Gary, then I am marking this one too. Happily married couples are always a delight to read; so much opportunities to grow, evolve and intertwine. Thank you thank you for all the suggestions.

@Gary, I think the best funny and romantic cozy series that I have read was Duffy Brown's Consignment Shop Mystery Series. I really really like Southern humour. I like to explore cultures and places totally different from mine, through books, movies and music. Cozies (like all genres) are educational for me. :D

So I'm very happy...

I have three or four more to read in the High Heels series. A Merry Wrath novel just came out and another is due out later this year.
Suranjana wrote: "I will have to read these two series. These are getting seriously high recommendation. :)"It depends on your sense of humor. I also love the Gertie Johnson series by Deb Baker.
I will be starting the first of my two this weekend as soon as I finish the Nero Wolfe novel I'm reading.
@Gary - sorry my reply comes late. I have marked the Deb Baker novel as well. Also bought the first book in high heels series. Hope my sense of humour is something akin to you and Meg. :)
