Lorcan claims that his goal is to save Maeve from herself. Did you believe him? Thoughts on Aelin's plan to trick him and his animosity toward her.

I do not believe Lorcan one bit and I applaud Aelin for what she did. It was actually a pretty good plan. Anyone who is loyal to Maeve is going to have some animosity toward Aelin.
I'm very suspicious of Lorcan and his motives. We haven't seen the last of him and the other Fae warriors. Aelin's plan was very clever and its just a pity it didn't work 100%.
