Throughout the story, Lorenzo appeared to have strong feelings for both Maria and the baby. What were your thoughts about him before everything was revealed? Do you think he felt sorry for her or genuinely cared about her? Was she the reason he didn’t want to marry?

I thought he was in love with Maria and was content to have the relationship as it was. That’s why he didn’t want to get married.
