Giovonnia | 3 comments The anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima was Aug. 6th and it has effected my reading selections. Currently I reading this book to try to get a look into the minds of the people who worked on the creation of the Atom bomb. I will also read more about Robert Oppenheimer. From what I remember, Oppenheimer often read sacred poetry. How can a man who enjoys this type of beauty involve himself in one of the worst creations mankind has ever built? Books on my list: Hiroshima, Cat's Cradle, The wives of Los Alamos.
