I don't remember about the amount of 'cuss words' in this book, I know they weren't used out of context or for shock value if there were any, but it was very VERY good. I liked it so much I went out and bought another by the same author!

Curse words don't stand out in my memory. What I do know is that it's one of the best books I read in 2017 and 2018 combined. Highly recommend. Jane Harper has an incredible writing talent.

I liked both this and her next book, Force of Nature. Both are set in Australia, and that made it a fun and different place for me to read about.

Yes, the Dry does have some big plot holes, but fun light fiction nonetheless. Force of Nature is better.
