This was a series of books based in NYC. The main character was a member of the Fey working with other Fey to police the Fey and make sure there aren’t any recognizable interactions between the Fey and humans. I read the series sometime between 2010 and 2016. They were new at that time. The name of the group created a funny acronym like RATS or something silly. This series was a spin off of another YA fantasy series also set in NYC. Both main characters live in the same apartment building. The character in the original series can teleport and is a thief and in love with a vampire.
