SOLVED. Girl use to be blind now can see helps the FBI

I read a book a couple of years ago that was about a girl who use to be blind but now able to see, and she uses all her Senses to help the FBI. The book was a mystery I think it was part of a new series like the first book.

One part of the book is where someone is killed in the room yet you can’t see anything, she closes her eyes and is able to smell that they installed new carpet.

Would greatly appreciate help finding the book. Thank you
