Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments ((Wow.....I'm so sorry. :( ))

Echo smiled at Maggie. "I'm not sure, what would be the best thing to do first? I haven't find something like this sense I was eight."6

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments "Ok," she said with a slight smile. Echo looked around the fancy palace room, all she thought of was how big and empty it was. And of course the fact that she didn't want to make a huge mess in it. "Should we go into the bathroom? It will be easier to clean up," Echo hoped the suggestion was good. If something were to go wrong, if there was a slip up ending with a bowl of thick pudy on the floor, the carpet would be stained and ruined. Echo knew of course that Maggie would get blamed and scolded and Echo didn't want that.

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Echo blushed, "You're spoiling me Maggie. You don't have to do this....really." She hesitantly walked into the bathroom and gazed at the throne of pillows. I'm being treated like a princess, yet I love a commoner. What a cruel irony. All the extravagances was making her sick inside. Yes she lived a three life, but she knew that everyone didn't deserve a gaudy life when there were those who lived in starvation. Echo sat at the edge of the comfy seat thinking of how William and her could very well end up in a place of famine and nothing but the dying people around you.

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments It was unannounced, the visit from the duke. But William was at the door right after his painful discussion with Louise. He had to change clothes, so no one could tell what had happened to him and wouldn't ask about the blood. He needed to do things now before he lost his nerve. He was going down, and was not taking Echo with him. He was going to say good-bye, an unspoken good-bye. He was thankful for the sinking of the sun. The growing night seemed to give him strength. The next day he wouldn't be anywhere near this area. The next day he would be gone forever.
He reached over and knocked lightly on the door, standing straight, clutching his cane in his hand. He swallowed. As a duke, despite his loosened responsibilities, his duty was to follow the laws and serve those above him, that being his family. And this was what he was going to do.

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William managed a polite smile and bow of the head. "Pleased to see you again, as always, dear Maggie. I'm sorry to once again introduce and bother both you and Miss Echo, but may I please speak to her? I've something important to tell her," he said, standing straight, looking elegant and well postured as always.

message 107: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Echo heard the commotion and Maggie's shriek. She shot up from her seat as she had started wiping the goo from her face as Maggie walked in to help her. Her eyes widened and filled with tears, thoughts of horror flew her mind. She had thought they wouldn't speak again for a long while. A whimpering whisper escaped her throat, "William?"
Her dearest love other than her loving family and kind Maggie? Slowly she walked towards the bathroom door, shaking, afraid. If only Echo knew why her nerves shot with feelings of despair and pain. She shivered from chills as if knowing the wrongness that hung in the air.

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments (( That's fine, love. ))

William waited patiently by the door, a hand on his cane, the other arm behind his back, standing like a perfect little soldier, princely and all despite the places he truly came from. He sighed softly, closing his eyes for a moment as he felt the familiar, sharp pain on his chest take over his thoughts and every bit of his senses for a brief moment, and then it was gone and he could breathe without pain again. His time was short, that much it told him.

message 110: by Sarah (last edited Sep 13, 2014 08:49PM) (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Echo quickly took off her ratty night gown and threw the random dress Maggie handed her. She only did as she was told like a little girl. Her mind was racing with questions that she wasn't even paying attention to why she had changed or what she changed into. Her hair was disheveled and longer than it was.
The death march to her bedroom and in the view of the door haunted her. Suddenly she was afraid of seeing William as if she did he would dissolve right before her. She didn't want to lose him too and his visit set alarms of in her mind. Turning out from the corner to the door Echo came into view of the ghost in the doorway. Blinking she plodded towards him in cold feet. "Will?" she spoke like a breeze, barely audible.

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William resisted the urge to crumble and sing his sorrow to her with the fall of his tears as the miserable music. He continued to act as if nothing were wrong as he stepped towards her and smiled. Only when they truly found themselves alone, though, was when he allowed his smile to fade. He approached her and simply pulled her against his chest, wrapping those strong arms around her to hold her close and he buried his nose in her soft red hair, keeping the shake wanting to wrack his body at bay by some miracle.

(( I wasn't planning to, dear. ))

She accepted the embrace.

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments (( Okay. :3 ))

message 120: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments His arm enveloped her small form. She clutched close to him burring her nose into his shoulder. All her fears ebbed away as his gentle warm touch calmed her. The tension left her body as she relaxed into his warm embrace. Yet still in the back of her mind an alarm went off.
With a whisper she spoke, "What's wrong?" It was all she wanted to know. Him being here was completely against they're decision to wait and it greatly confused her. His presence made her remember about the night they had last talked making her shutter. She had almost completely lost two things that day and it was burned in her memory. Echo fought back tears as she thought of telling her dear William about her announcement from home, but she didn't want to talk about it again. She kept her head hidden against his chest listening to his heart beat.

message 121: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William said nothing for quite a while. Despite the feelings threatening to tear down the borders keeping them caged inside him, he couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of hope, that someone knew him and understood him enough to have a feeling something was wrong before he ver said anything. And while this was incredibly painful and difficult to do, he had to. It was the honorable thing to do.
"I....I have to tell you something..." he murmured quietly, his voice muffled as he held her a little tighter, though not enough to hurt her, simply enough to let her know he needed the close contact they currently shared. He wished things were easier, that for once he had a better choice, wished Echo was truly his to choose. If so, things would not have gotten nearly as bad. Even then he could taste the blood in his mouth. Would he be this close to nothing if it were him in Philip's place with Echo to choose? Or would he truly marry his love to make her a widow either way?

message 122: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments At his tightening grip and agonizing words he pulled away from him, just enough for their eyes to lock. Echo swallowed tightly, "I have something I want to tell you too."
A feeling deep inside her was urging her to make a final decision. She couldn't stand being here much longer regardless of what her mother would want and what her father had said. There was only one thing keeping her here and he stood here before her. Her small packed belongings were stacked in the closest and she was preparing to confront the prince on we situation.

message 123: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William brushed trembling, but soft fingers over her cheek, kissing her forehead. "Tell me first. I'll go second," he said to her, moving away enough to hold her loosely around the waist, their chest no longer touching though they were still intimately close. He rested his forehead against her own, hoping to God no one walked in. It wouldn't matter, not really, but it would cause Echo the trouble he so wanted to avoid.

message 124: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Echo glanced to the side nervous and blinked heavily before turning her gaze upon his. "I need to go home," her words were filled with remorse, Echo didn't want to leave the Selection because that would mean leaving William. Echo's heart was torn but her mother needed her, her family needed her. Over all Echo was a piece of coal among diamonds and she very well knew that. She didn't come to win a strangers heart in a competition. Echo ventured here for her mother's sake and desires.
William's light touch on her hips made her heart flutter. She leaned more against his head for support as she studied his expression. Being so close to him made her vision blurry and all she could tell was the deep color's of his eyes.

message 125: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William was quiet a moment, his expression not changing. He knew that, if she wanted to go home, something bad was going on back there. Did someone she love die? If so, why would he tell her he didn't have much time either and leave her forever to try to avoid the biggest blow he can leave behind on her heart? He closed his dark blue eyes a moment to take a deep breath. Should he tell her the truth? He wasn't planning on telling her all of the truth, but should he tell her any of it at all? Should he? Or should he come up qith something else for her sake? He didn't know what to do. If he told her the truth he would make it so much harder for her. But if he didn't and she found out what happened to him later on....would she feel betrayed by his silence?
"What happened?" was what he said next, stalling, needing more time to think his decision through.

message 126: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Her eyes saddened. "My mom has been terminally ill for the past four years or so, she has slipped into a coma now." She nuzzled in the crook of his neck for comfort. Not wanting to let him go. Mumbling into his clothes she continued, "I wish you could've met her." Echo never found much interest in boys but her mother did. If Echo were to bring home William in good circumstances her mother would've thrown a dinner party in celebration. But Echo's heart ached at never having her mother meat this man who has found his place in her heart. She would never get to see Echo married off.

message 127: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William rested his head against hers, closing his eyes as he held her comfortingly. Maybe it was best to keep his condition hidden from her. Was there anything else to do? He could not tell her he wa turning himself in, dooming himself entirely, taking his own life basically. But....but she should know why they wouldn't be able to see each other again, he felt. Not now, though. He would give her the comfort she needs first, and then....then he would allow himself to hurt her with the truth, holding a heavy heart. It was horrid, to hurt someone you loved for their own good. He would prefer for her to tell him of problems like this that would doom them both, so he would tell her then. "I'm sorry, Echo.... I wish I could have met her as well. I really do...." he whispered, concentrating on taking deep breaths.

message 128: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Teary eyed she looked up at him, "Thank you." Her lip quivered but she held it back trying to smile. Lovingly she looked at him and whispered again, "Thank you." Her voice echoed the thoughts in her mind. Echo was so grateful to have William her with her now. His touch soothed her and his arms calmed her heart. With simply his presence and care she was calming her sorrows and getting over her trials. "Will. What did you want to tell me?" Her desire to know ached in her and curiosity of William's abrupt visit made her uneasy.

message 129: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William winced when she brought it up. He was hoping to avoid it a little while and comfort her longer, but he supposed it was best to get things over with. "I....don't want to alarm you....but you should know certain things about me I haven't yet revealed to you..." He took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. When he opened his eyes again he took hold of her hand and gently placed it over his heart, so she could feel the steady, slow beating of it in his strong chest. "I....since not long ago the doctors discovered I've been housing an uncurable disease that attacks the heart. Its hard to tell what it really is, but it hardly matters, seeing as there really is no cure for it. But really, what it means is that my heart is crippled, therefore causing me great pain if stressed too far, angered or hurt in the emotional sense... It's fragile. It wasn't long ago that it was discovered. It was discovered last week when I happened to have a horrible night in which I could not let myself leave the bathroom after a discussion with the Princess of Illéa. Most of what came up and out wasn't the usual that comes when throwing up. And recently the red liquid has been coming from spontanious, violent coughs of mine. So....what I really am saying is that....my life has shortenened considerably. And while it will prove difficult to marry....I'm not sure if I could do that to you. Marry you to make you a widow all too soon... I feel it's.....it's too cruel...." he murmured, lowering his head.

message 131: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments As William talked on Echo's smile disappeared. She felt as if her own heart stopped as her thoughts came to a stand still. His words were blurry and distorted but she knew what he said. And it hurt. It hurt to know that he was slowly leaving this life. Instead of crying and feeling sorry for herself at a loss she went to him. Echo took his head in her hands allowing him to lean and rest on her shoulder. She stroked his head as she thought deeper of what he said. Deep inside her she under stood that their time would be short, maybe even months short. "William," she hesitated. Her hands shook as the unthinkable went through her mind. "I'm here for you. I always will be, no matter what. I won't leave you, you don't have to go through this alone. I love you William," she whispered into his ear. Something else clicked inside her, why was he telling her this now? Cautiously she asked, "What are you going to do?"

message 132: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William shook his head as she spoke. "We'll stick to our plan and I'll call you back as my guest and we can somehow marry, somehow.... I can do it on my own for however long I have to.... You just think about your mother. I may not have all the time in the world, but I can wait as long as you need me to..." He closed his eyes, taking deep breaths to calm his throbbing heart, his eyes closed as he buried his face in her neck. "I love you too, Echo.... Very much, the most everywhere...." When she asked him what he was going to do, he tensed instantly. "Um.... Nothing.... I just needed you to know, now that it's getting worse and there might really not be a cure.... The doctors are searching, and so far no cute had been found, but we have time to find a treatment, I think...." He couldn't tell her about everything he was planning to do. It just wouldn't be fair.

message 133: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments The news of his condition was breaking her up inside. But she wasn't going to let to much show, he didn't need her broken and crying. She could cry her sorrows to Maggie later. Maggie always listened to her and cared for her. Echo felt the tension in William's muscles and voice as he spoke. His words hesitant and wrong in her ears. Her heart skipped, he wasn't telling her something, she could just tell. She wasn't sure whether or not to question him on that. He probably didn't want to talk about it further but his reaction bothered her. She felt as if she was being left out of something, that she was being kept in the dark. "Will," she began quietly. "What is it?" Echo had spoken with more assertion to get a reply. In Echo's imaginative head she questioned why he was telling her now. She kept thinking why he hadn't told her earlier. Does he not trust me? Echo wasn't about to be hidden in the dark again.

message 134: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments This time Will showed no possible signs of secrecy. He had been acting for years and needed to act a bit now for her sake. If he told her he was turning himself in, she might want to go along with him. But then what about her mother? There was no way they could be together. Even if he didn't turn himself in, Louise would. She was a dark presence in his life, the one looking to crush everything he ever wanted in his miserable life. He couldn't let her do it to him. If she was dooming him to death, he preferred to do it himself rather than give her the satisfaction. He needed to take care of his Echo as well. "It's just that....Louise isn't exactly being the nicest person in the country right now... We just had a discussion and..." he stopped, closing his eyes as he winced and held her a bit tighter, swallowing the taste of blood building up in his mouth. Thinking about Louise wasn't helping him... "We had a discussion and it didn't end well... I feel this eternal debate between the two of us is the mayor cause of this....situation of mine worsening. It gets worse every time I think about it thoroughly, worse when I see her and....well, nothing near bad but much more when things like what happened today do..."

message 135: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments Echo sighed quietly. She looked up at him with remorse, thoughts of uncertainty crossing her mind. There wasn't anything she could think of doing except for take step back from his hold. "Alright, if that's how it is....I'll leave you to your rest," she turned slightly looking back in her room, "I have to....pack, anyways." She smiled up at him feeling very lost. Her mother was leaving her, William was leaving her, she was leaving, what else was going to happen was all she could think about. She swallowed a sob, pushing away all the tears from her loses. As much as she didn't want to come home now, she knew that William would be here for her. When taking another step back letting her hands drop from his her heart tore. Echo was planning on leaving in the morning and was realizing she would probably not see William for a long time. Maybe never.

message 136: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William didn't let her move away too far. He caught at her hand again, not letting her step away. He brushed his fingers over her cheek, lightly tilting her head towards his and very gentle touching his lips to hers. Though this kiss, unlike the others, was strange. It was firmer than the others now when he pulled her too him and wrapped an arm around her waist, molding his lips against hers. It was not wild and was not exactly passionate. It was simply a.....farewell. It was careful, but loving, as if he were trying to tell her everything that he felt for her in hat kiss, in the very short time he had left to tell it to her all in one deep, long, dizzying kiss.

message 137: by Sarah (last edited Sep 18, 2014 10:15PM) (new)

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments His kiss. She had no words that could be remembered, no words she could have written down to express his kiss. It was something she hadn't felt before, achingly different and even painful. Echo felt a flood of emotions, she trembled from forcing herself not to cry. She wasn't going to cry. She couldn't. William lingered and pressed against her with such disheartenment and longing that Echo's lips twitched as she pressed hers to his in a similar feeling. Their goodbye was only delayed by the length of this kiss. Echo knew that her farewell would be now and not in the morning making her to never want this kiss to end. What Echo had not been expecting from this kiss was the desperation she felt from William, surely they would see each other one more time or write to each other. But her own sadness from from his absence, even with William still there, caused her tears to roll down her cheeks. Silently the salty drops trickled down grazing her nose and lips before plopping to her neck and chest and sleaves. The droplets would drip from her chin wetting chest and the hem of her dress. Echo's brow creased as she pinched her eyes shut in a desperate attempt to hold back the tears. It didn't work. It only seemed to make it worse. The top of her thin dark blue night gown(view spoiler) was damp with tears and made her shiver. Slowly all her thoughts of how to pack, where she was going, leaving William, his illness, her mother's worsening condition flew from her mind as she clung to him in a warm embrace.

message 138: by PlatonicFern (new)

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments While Will would have greatly enjoyed kissing his Echo longer, kissing her for hours, holding her close to him, kissing every part of her possible and respectable to kiss, her tears stopped their kiss when they grew too great in numbers. His own face was wet, with her tears, as he refused to display more weakness, by crying, before Echo than he already had. He took her face in his hands and kissed her cheeks, taking the tears away with gentle touches of his lips, refusing to see her face wet with liquid sorrow. "I will find a way, Echo. Somehow, I will find a way. And if we never meet in this life again, we will in the next. Wherever it is we'll be after life, wherever I wake I will wait to cross the rivers with you, wait on the shore for you to join me. I won't take a step further without you, not one. And despite the fact that I won't always be there to hold you and whisper things to you, I will always be wishing for you to be with me, always picturing you in my life, always starting a day with reminders of you in the sun and ending it with slivers of you in the stars. I will always hold you first in my weakening heart and will always hold your name as the strength needed to stay on my feet. While I cannot promise you a forever together here, I can promise you a forever there, after pain is no longer felt and peace is part of our bodies and our souls," he whispered to her as he kissed those tears away. "I will follow you in soul wherever you go. Whoever you may love, I will love as well. Where you claim your home, so will I in some degree. And while I am at the mercy of illness and harsh law, death won't part me from you. I may be a silly boy, broken in more ways than one, but I stand and refuse to fall in shattered bits and I will do so until I am worn down to bone and ash, so that then I would have given you everything, my all." He touched his lips to her forehead, taking a deep breath to calm the pain in his heart and the pull of tears in his eyes. "If we never see each other again, know we share the same sky, the very same sky. Know that whenever I look upon it I remember you. And so, if I were to choose one thing to do for the rest of time while apart, it would be to remember this, the small moments that will serve to fill me for the longest of times until we meet once more on the other side."

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments His kiss left an imprint on her sole. The feeling of his lips on her brow wouldn't leave her. William's words bore into her. He was going to die. This hurt her to no avail. Yes, they all would die at some point, but the thought of him dying before she got to spend a lifetime with him hurt. No, it didn't hurt, it was a grief and misery she had never felt before. Losing him not just another gash in her heart. It was about to leave a black empty whole that wouldn't be replaceable. She sniffled holding back tears, "Don't talk like that, about only seeing each other in the next life after death. Not now, please." Echo stared into William's eyes trying to read him, read his thoughts. There must be something there, some hope of a life with him. Well and happy, but every minute she thought less of how it was possible. Echo stroked his cheek in chin admiring his strength and courage for going through something as life taking as this. She rested her head on his. "My dear William, I love you regardless of where we are. I hope you know that," she whispered so sweetly and lightly like a warm summer breeze. His words had taken her breath away chilling her, as much as it was true she didn't want to be reminded of his soon absence in life.

((We could keep this RP up and say the Ball is the night tomorrow of their interaction. Than there isn't some weird time between these two times that wouldn't make sense.))

PlatonicFern (platonicfern473) | 686 comments William could see the suffering burning inside her, could see what he and his words had done to her, making it all twice as horrible for her, what with her mother in danger as well. He felt a painful pang in his heart, and it was all he could do not to fall to his knees and clutch at his heart. He did slump against her a little bit, taking deep breaths as he held her, his grip on her loosening just a tiny bit. It was a while before he could see straight again. This was clearly not helping his condition, parting with her. "I do know that. You should know I love you just the same," he whispered, refusing to let tears fall. He would save that for the horrible night that was to come. He could already taste the blood that was sure to stain his sheets and paint the floors.... "You should know, Echo....that if I could, if I really could....I'd ask you to be mine, in every way. We've known each other for a short time, a month now. But I want you in every way humanly possible. I want to take care of you, I want to be the shoulder you cry on, I want to be the one you rely on, I want to be everything you would ever want me to be. And I will always hold that wish as the dearest in my heart," he promised, touching his lips to hers lightly, softly, like a brush of a feather.

(( That's a rather clever idea.... I agree. :3 ))

Sarah (monsosar) | 971 comments ((I'm so terrible >< Here it finally is :( ))

Echo stood firm to support his weight and what felt like all of William's troubles. Another's load always felt heavier than your own but that was just another way of understanding everyone truly struggles to push through life. Maybe to Echo it was just the idea of having to let go of his that wad made her shake. But she stayed as strong as she could just for him as he slowly made his recovery. True their time had been short and a stumble to begin with, but Echo wouldn't take any moment back. William had made her so much more comfortable with herself, helped her open her eyes to a future she desired. Now all of that dreaming was becoming the silent nightmare. Her breath caught in her throat not wanting to escape and her heart felt chocked. From then on she wasn't going to let any kiss or words slip her before engraving it into her memory. Every moment they shared was precious. She wanted it to last. Finally she sighed, her body giving up on trying to hold it in any longer. Echo gazed intently into his eyes daring him to look away. If a gaze was all it took to convey feelings she would have show all her love and care for him then. His enchanting words only made her long for a life with him only ending in the happiest of things, old and frail together in their last days. The journey there of course would be the best of memories and wishes come true. "Our time has been short. But there hasn't been a minute of regret while I've spent my time with you. Or my love." Echo held one hand under his arm for support the other on his face brushing the soft skin under his eye. "I would only want your should for my tears and your arms to keep me up. William.....love had never been something I had thought of only dreamed of happening. Now I dream of it never stopping. I wish that I could love you fully and express to you everything without worry of others. I wish that you wouldn't have to worry without me there. Without me to support you in recovery. You are all I hold dear." Her callused thumb brushed the soft skin of his face as she looked into his eyes. Slowly she closed the space between them no longer afraid of the out come of their shared kiss.

I'm so sorry D: It has been a long time sense we RPed and a lot has happened in the palace! So depressed.
How have you been?
I don't want Wecho to end in a tragedy despite how dramatic it is and how it feels like Romeo and Juliet. I will not stand for any more deaths on this RP!! *Raises fist*))

I've been.....okay, I suppose. You?
As for the deaths: I agree. But really, there's no way William and Echo can get what they want, is there? Louise is everywhere.... ))

William said nothing, letting her lips touch his fully and tightened his grip around her waist. He felt the danger prickling at his mind as they kissed yet again, but he couldn't take it seriously. Otherwise, everything would be ruined. He wished he could just push the danger away to kiss Echo for the rest of his days and never let go, but some wishes were unexceptionally unreal. So he glued this moment to his long stream of memories, tilting his head into their kiss to deepen it ever so slightly, trying in vain to control his breathing and ignore the pain parting with Echo was causing him.

I have been good I guess, in pain and really busy.
I greatly agree. There are no good solutions that I know of or can think of. I'm wishing and hoping that we can get to the point where they marry and live in the palace. Then we can still RP them and their children! That would be awesome but I don't know if it's possible.))

Their kiss may have lingered longer than it should have, but Echo didn't want to let go. She wished that this kiss wouldn't be they're last, but it was inevitably true. Her tears went away as she prepared herself for the farewell. They may only see each other for a few more days before she left the palace. Echo opened her eyes slightly and gazed at him when he deepened the kiss. Slowly she followed and tilted her head as well. In only moments there kiss would be broken along with most of their bond.

That's all good, except for the pain and busy thing. I'm sorry about that, even though I don't understand it all fully.
And I very much agree to that. I'm sure we'll find a way. We jut have to finish this here, wait to see what happens at the ball and such. Maybe when Will is taken away he can somehow become a guard, be recruited by one of the royals, and when he works through those five years, he can marry Echo. Assuming it's possible he can become an undercover guard and will live that long. ))

William let it linger for hours, it seemed, but it was only just a few minutes, still equivalent to the longest kiss he had ever charged with her, as well as anyone else. He broke away before it stopped being respectable and placed a hand on her cheek, touching their foreheads together again as his dark blue eyes looked into hers with a burning intensity the color blue should not posses. Blue was associated with cold, yet those eyes of his were the warmest most had ever seen, when he was found in a good mood and speaking to one he cared about in some way, playing his music, painting, writing, anything concerning things and people he loved brought the warmth out of those cold blue eyes. "I love you Echo. And I always will, even if today proves to be my last. Even if ten years later I can still breathe and have another as my wife without a choice, because if I truly did have a choice of whether to marry no one or someone else that is not you, I'd choose solitude forever," he promised her, taking her hands in his, squeezing them lightly.

Many of the previous guards would surely recognize him or something. I dunno, maybe it would! I think we will mostly have to wait and see the outcomes of the Ball, the Departure, the Arrest, and what not. *Yes I may have named certain events that are sure to come* What I am hoping is that they will be separated for the many reasons but may be reunited in the palace. Forgiveness from the Royals {Not including Louise probably, you never know} and acceptance again?))

At that moment when she looked into his eyes they were different. It caught Echo off guard that they were no longer pools of cool water but instead bright burning blue flame. He looked so warm and comfortable than how he had been the past weeks she had seen him. The comfort of knowing that he would be true to her warmed her, but it bothered her that if there was no other choice he wouldn't move on or be happy. She wanted him to be happy even with out her there. Echo thought on that not wanting to accept that he love William could be unhappy. It dawned on her that if it made him happy to be alone than with someone else, than she would respect that happiness and that promise. If he would only love her she would only love him. Echo looked up into those warm eyes with a new understanding of him and his love for her. "I love you William. And I will chose the same, but I may have no other choice on the matter of marrying another or not. If I do marry another in the future I could never love him." At that moment she squeezed his hands returning the gesture. "You are my only." Echo looked at him with a wholehearted love that lay deep within her. She knew these feelings would linger all her life even with him gone.
