Norah Alsultan I'm with your friends :) Maybe Mockingjay part 1 is Good! But on part 2, I don't like it so much. Some character die, like Finnick and Prim "( They are changed many things! But I believe it's war, and on war not every things make you happy! And I hope everyone Know this:) Collins write the Series about war, and I said before "on war not every things make you happy!"

Jonathan Northrop I liked Catching Fire better than Mockingjay. It's a personal thing!!! ;)

Hannah Kelly Nope. IMHO it just stunk overall. But the I didn't like catching fire either. I enjoyed aspects of both these books don't get me wrong but I liked the first one best.

Marisa Ferreira I personally liked Catching Fire better. It's the best of the three, for me

NL NOOOOOO

Paula YES. EVERYONE LOVES CATCHING FIRE AND I ALMOST FALL ASLEEP READING THAT BOOK.
Mockingjay is the best of the 3 in my opinion

Kelly Brigid ♡ Hell no. :P

Kara C I also prefer Catching Fire to Mockingjay... I felt like the pace of the 3rd book was faster than the other 2 despite having a more complicated plot. A lot of charatcers died, relationships severed, but there wasn't as much build-up. I also felt a bit sad about the tone/style Katniss used around the end of the book -i know that was meant to show how broken she was inside-i would have loved to see more surety her and felt more hopeful at the end of the read. The book just ended on such a heavy note, for me (Katniss' internal struggle was too realistic and felt unresolved). Just my personal opinion. I loved all books though.

Michael Sussman I enjoyed the first two, but thought Mockingjay was poorly written, as if she'd finished the trilogy in a hurry. It felt disjointed, overly violent, with the hero becoming increasingly passive, and a disturbing ending that was in no way satisfying.

Carrie I also thought the first two were better. I didn't hate Mockingjay or anything - I just thought The Hunger Games and Catching Fire were better.

Peyton Terry I think i really liked Catching fire more because it was like the beginning of the rebellion. (And it's not as sad)
Also because it's sort of confusing and i had to read it twice to fully understand it.

hannah renee. Yes. Well personally, I thought Mockingjay was the most well written. The fact that everything was so turbulent was what made it good. Because so much changed was what made it amazing and what gave it so much feeling. It was so raw and full of emotion... making it so deep and the writing was incredible. Loved everything about it. I absolutely adored Mockingjay the most. Best one in the series. I understand that others feel differently... but not liking Mockingjay just because people died and she ends up marrying Peeta is small-minded.

†Reviews of a FearStreetZombie† I like em all the same.

Julia Mockingjay was my favorite of the trilogy! And Catching Fire was my least favorite, actually. So, YES!

Brooke nope. least favorite of the series.

†Reviews of a FearStreetZombie† Gotta admit though, no matter which book is your favorite for whatever reason, All of them hold such a important roll. It seems like in each book, you see a whole new side of each character.
I found that really enjoyable seeing them transform so much.

Emergency8 I like catching fire better. don't know why I just think it is better.

Aimen Rahman Mockingjay is my favourite book and i adore it like a LOT :D
catching fire is also amazing but not as wonderful as mockingjay :')

Hannah-Sophie I like them both equally though I think Mockingjay was quite disturbing. I was crying a lot over the last 100 pages. Also the ending is not really a happy ending, although I'm Team Peeta and think the ending fits the story

Lindsay Carter i like them all! :) i think mockingjay is the nitty/gritty emotion part of the story. where as hunger games and catching fire is all the action.

NickReads no , not even close , believe me!

That's kind of mean, just saying. No offense.

izzi MOCKINGJAY IS SO BORING! GO CATCHING FIRE!

Mary Ann Khalil I really like action in books, rather than reading about characters that think too much and overanalyse everything, so Catching Fire was a lot more interesting to read than Mockingjay. Now that I think about it, Mockingjay was good at tying all loose ends. I didn't say they were all tied in a neat bow, but they were tied nonetheless. It was satisfying for the last book in a trilogy, but not in terms of excitement.

Kailee Jurnak I thought Catching Fire was much better.

๓คץค- I thought Catching Fire was 100 percent better, but thats just me. :) I have a friend who really likes Mockingjay better, and i can't see why...

๓คץค- I liked Catching Fire more because it was well written, flavorful and exciting, not just about one thing the whole time, like Mockingjay was to me. In Catching Fire, the characters remained true to themselves and likable, but the characters became funky in Mockingjay. But thats just me. :)

Charity Kelly I like the whole trilogy. But I hated it when Finnick died. I cried. Also when Prim died. It was so sad.

๓คץค- I know right. :)

I agree.

Rebekah Alexander So Catching Fire!!!!!

Abigail This is the best book to the whole series! Everybody died who was unneeded, and finally Gal left, I hated him SOOOO much!

Sara Mihek Mockingjay is my favorite! Love it so much! Reading it just calms me

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

First half was "Katniss goes here. she speaks with gale. She thinks about Peeta. She wants to die." Make D13 a little more interesting! Okay, some really cool moments happen in between Her sulking behind crates and phew, when 2 comes. Shit is really going to hit the fan!

This we are aware.

message 36: by Amy (new) - rated it 3 stars

Amy No, Catching Fire is better!

message 37: by The (new) - rated it 5 stars

The Alien Mockingjay is much better! The epilogue is awesome.

message 38: by Amy (new) - rated it 3 stars

Amy Sabine, I like Catching Fire more cause Finnick doesn't die (hehehe), no, that is a reason but seriously though...ummmm, because Mockingjay feels like Collins rushed it and also it is much more violent.

Charity Kelly Blah blah blah.... Back and forth back and forth. ;)

Laura For me Mockingjay is the best.. catching fire is ok but also a little bit boring.

๓คץค- Catching Fire is better.

Sybyll Bernardo Mockingjay is the best. Though there are some boring parts (I just don't have the patience to read the action scenes) the ending was a blast. It sums up the message that the writer is trying to convey. Wars destroy people and people conceive wars.

Charity Kelly Yep

Charity Kelly I totally agree

Laurie No, Catching Fire was by far the best of the trilogy, in my opinion. Mockingjay was a bit anticlimactic for me.

Abigail Mocking jay is the BEST book in the series... Well in MY opinion

Charity Kelly They are both good, NOW BE QURIET!!!!!!!!!

Charity Kelly ARGH!

Charity Kelly Meh....
