"The Plan to Block the Sun With Chemical Trails from Airplanes, Space Bubbles, and More.

"As a move to fight against alleged climate change, researchers are developing technologies to block sunlight from reaching the earth’s surface. This includes a program from Harvard, financed by Bill Gates, to spray chemicals into the earth’s stratosphere that would mimic the effects of ash clouds from a volcanic eruption. Other programs include the use of “space bubbles” to reduce the amount of sunlight reaching the earth."

When I saw this I thought I'd woken up in a parallel universe!

Sounds a bit unbelievable, don't you think, Lance?

I believe they're only experimenting at this stage.

hmmm ... Do you have any concrete evidence to support your hypothesis, Lance?
Or is your "science" only a gut belief?

Nope - that's not my hypothesis Carmen. I was merely the messenger in that instance, quoting verbatim an interesting report I sourced in The Epoch Times as per the link supplied.

Ah! Say no more, Lance.
Epoch Times is a one of those religious far-right journals that I prefer to avoid.
Thanks for the clarification!
Peace

Carmen - Mmmmaybe such journals serve their purpose by balancing the extreme Left narrative that spews from the mouths of politicians, policymakers, MSM journalists et al in this era of pandemics, vaccine mandates, climate change etc. etc?

Mmmmaybe not, Lance.
At least presently, snake oil salesmen are usually on the far-right.
Here in the US, Donald Trump is supported by the far-right. Trump supporters believe all kinds of crazy stuff and send him lots of money.

Good point, James. I think it imperative to specify the problem that many of us see with the "far-right."

I would classify Stalin, Hitler, Putin, etc. as authoritarian dictators. Period. Dictators need an ideological base for support. It does not matter if they use the religious right or the progressive left for their support. The problem remains that they use and abuse their power.

With that said, here in the US we have the problem of the religious right trying to dictate state laws. They have won the support of all kinds of quacks who follow Donald Trump as a cult leader. They are literally willing to use violence for the good of Trump.

On the other hand Carmen, how's the good ol' US of A doin' under Biden lately? Seems there's problems at both ends of the political spectrum.

Considering how badly the US was doing under Trump, Lance, Biden has done an incredibly good job in turning the country around.
Covid was the big issue; life is getting back to normal.
Biden's leadership finally got us a much needed Infrastructure Bill passed. There's also the Inflation Reduction Bill ... lots of good stuff.
Hopefully, the Democratic Party will be to keep the lead in Congress so the progress can continue.

Thank you, Lance, I've been accused of worse. LOL

Seen as how you are hijacking every single thread with ongoing complaints about Trump, Trump, Trump (which I, and I'm sure others, find mostly irrelevant given he left office almost 2 years ago and we got a new idiot in power now), let me hijack your Trump mini-threads with something you might deem irrelevant too (but I'm interested to know):

Given you claim to be a thinker and always know right from wrong...And I notice you mention you are also a Catholic...

Have you ever asked yourself how the Vatican has managed to become the biggest pedophile cover-up organization in the history of the planet, arguably the most "Satanic" institution that's ever existed (by Christian/Biblical standards and definitions given children are revered in the Bible), yet about a billion Catholics still support each new Pope and seem okay with the entire organization continuing?

How do you explain that contradiction? I genuinely want to know how it's even possible any Catholic (and by the way, I know many good Catholic people) can continue to be associated with the Vatican in any way whatsoever (remembering that every Catholic church no matter how small is somehow linked to the Vatican)... Seems to me, for those Christians who believe in Jesus and the literal interpretation of a Second Coming, the first thing Jesus would do would upon return would be to burn down the Vatican figuratively and literally...

Hopefully, given children continue to be molested in Catholic organizations all over the planet (millions of new cases globally are reported per year and Lord knows how many go unreported), you won't divert and blame Trump for that too...

Beth (pix1) | 378 comments Biden is a joke with most countries laughing at the U.S. he's a puppet who does as he's told but only if he has his notes and can remember where he put them. The man is past his prime and obviously has dementia! He can't walk in the right direction without help.
Just wait until the next crisis comes along with another lockdown and thousands more deaths....it will happen in one way or another they need to keep control with brainwashing and lies. Scare tactics.

Yes, James, Trump has been been out of office for 18 months, but his crimes continue. So we have to remain vigilante against the problems Trump continues to cause.

Carmen, I note you didn't reply to my post about Trump and your Catholic faith...See my post above.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Although a little off topic, perhaps your answer to this question re the Vatican might help the group understand your belief system and mentality. You seem so certain about every single topic, that everyone else with opposing beliefs to you is completely wrong and you are always completely right -- so maybe your religious beliefs might interrelate here? e.g. whether you can spot dogma and corruption, whether you are able to think philosophically and weigh up opposing sides to different arguments. I'd be interested to know if you admit there are massive problems with the foundations or power players behind the Catholic religion? Or whether you dismiss these concerns also.

p.s. I am semi-religious and definitely spiritual, so make no mistake I am not anti religion at all and certainly not anti the Bible. My questions relate more to the man-made religion and the Catholic institution on Earth...
