Nicola (nikki-lou) | 2115 comments Everyone loves to read here at the New Adult Book Club. We want to help make it easier to look for that book! We would also love your help in doing so. If you know of a book that you think should be included in one of the booklists or one that covers multiple categories please just let us know in the relevant post below. Please post the book title, author and if you can bookcover. If the book is not stated or known as a New Adult Book please let us know why you consider it to be New Adult. Once your book has been added to the main post your comment will be deleted to keep the comment section short and easier to locate new comments. Kim | 11 comments Balance Execution
Off Balance Series by Lucia Franco
Could be added to Sports Category, School/Bullying Category, Abuse/Taboo/Forbidden/Dark Category.

Even though MC is young, the subject matter is much too dark for YA. The series will continue through at least 5 books.

Colby Millsaps Doors
Add to contemporary / Romance, tearjerker, abuse/dark themes
Story of a girl who runs away from her abusive home on her 18th birthday, finds love that she never thought would exist

Crossing Lines
Add to contemporary / romance, tearjerker, taboo, school
Not your typical student/teacher romance with a darker ending

MC is 21 in the first book. Add to dystopian, fantasy and paranormal

I Am the Messenger
MC is 19. Not sure on category. A sort of coming of age mystery?
