This one is listed on Amazon as 64 pages with a different cover. In fact, the kindle edition is not even listed as an option on the book page.

Eradimus: God of Imbolc by J. Rose Allister

Bodyguard by Rye Hart
Her author's page on amazon has disappeared. Well, it's there, but blank.
Wonder what is up with that. That's the 2nd author I have run into that way.

savage alpha box set by Sadie Savage (ebook consisting of 3 books)
Billionaire Bait by Sadie Savage (ebook, one of the 3 above)
Navy Seal Daddy by Sadie Savage (ebook, one of the 3 above) Has page count, but not a proper edition choice.
3rd book not listed on GR at all.
It's titled
'Daddy Outlaw' by Sadie Savage
None of the above is on Amazon.

Thank you for your work on;
savage alpha box set by Sadie Savage by Sadie Savage
It now has the page count of 56.
I wish this author would work on her authors page. Like adding a website or ask question section. Maybe she will see this and add more info! That would be awesome. Would like to know more about her.

Crescent Vendetta and the author should be Desiree L. Scott but it appears to be on a defunct page with her listed as Desiree L Scott
This edition is not listed on her proper author's page. The kindle edition listed on what appears to be her real author's page is
Crescent Vendetta
It is the wrong cover with an incorrect page count. This is the edition I have listed on my shelf as 'Want to Read', but it is not the one I purchased from Amazon.

cover and page count for this edition are the same as on Amazon: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

we do not have any more information than you have on the page counts for ebook editions.
Librarian Manual states:
Most ebook formats do not have a fixed number of pages since the pagination adjusts for screen size. If the publisher provides a specific page count, that number should be reflected in our book data. (...)
If the publisher does not provide a page number, you may estimate the page count using a tool such as Calibre's Count Pages plugin.
If you have an access to this or similar tool to calculate the page count on the ebooks you have we could add them with a librarian note that this is an estimate .
Sorry we cannot be more helpful here.

Thank you Olivia.
How does one go about getting a tool like that?

I am looking into this Calibre's Count Pages plugin. It looks a little confusing to me but that is probably because it is totally new to me. I'm just not sure how it works with my kindle for pc app, etc. But I love the idea!
Here is a question I need answered.
I am always working on bettering my shelves for my own use. I clicked on the 'Amazon book purchases' under 'Add books' on my shelf. I didn't think anything was going to come up, but I was surprised numerous books showed up needing to be added to my shelf. That's how I found the oddity with #61 Crescent Vendetta. This means these books are listed on my shelf some how, but apparently not the way Amazon recognizes them as such.
So, the question is 'Should I start a different thread for these books? I have no idea what I am going to run into as I try to get them properly added to my shelf.

GR says 209 pgs, Amazon says 264 pgs.

Kindle quite often change page numbers, so all we need then is what you posted in #70 rather than all the other details, and that goes for a new page number as well ~ for amazon listed books.

Cool. I will keep that in mind. It will make it easier.

What is an ACE?
I try to match up what I purchase on Amazon with the edition listed on GR by cover, etc. but often I have problems with that even on my 'Manage Contents' and the 'Add Amazon Purchases'.
It amazes me how often they don't match anything at all. You would think the authors or their publishers would keep their pages better maintained. Same for the ebooks from Instafreebie & Bookfunnel.

Ahhh, okay. That makes perfect sense. God I am dense sometimes.

The Invitation by Roxy Sloane
The problems I'm having are;
#The cover is different.
#The page count is different.
Here is the product link on Amazon with the cover I have on my kindle. It's definitely the same book. I know part of the problem is the way it's listed on Amazon as book 3.
I am SOOOOO confused!

We need to add the new edition to GR. I'll do so shortly, if another librarian doesn't get to it.
https://www.amazon.com/Invitation-Sed...

I checked the table of contents and ran through the book to see what all it has in it. It definitely contains both the prequel The Invitation & book 2 Surrender.
The end of the book tells me to continue the story with book 4 Release (which is actually book 3).
Why do authors do this? (That question is rhetorical, lol).

As you can see, this edition is a mess. The book is pretty dang good, but Amazon & the author have created a bit of a conundrum.

I went to the author's page and used the 'Ask Question' to bring this to her attention. Hopefully she will reply.

And thank you to all the Librarians who help us on GR everyday.
You answer our unintelligent questions.
Put up with attitude and insecurities.
Research books and many different ways.
And all for the love of the written word and this site.
I just want you to know You Are Appreciated!

I certainly hope so Debra. Not sure what to do with this mess. I can add a new edition, but what is happening with the numbering?

The author needs to list it as a separate book entirely in the series as an omnibus with the correct page count.
I finished reading it and marked book 1 & 2 as Read so I can review them properly. Amazon and the back of this book have book 3 marked as book4.
This really needs the attention of the author.

Thank you Sandra.
Now to tell you something I find interesting.
There are books that have been on my shelf since March of this year that needed a page count.
12 of them suddenly have pages counts.
Of the 12 only only 3 are mobi ebooks. The rest are Amazon.
I hadn't listed any of them on here yet.
I don't know if one of y'all did this, or Amazon somehow did it, or if the authors suddenly felt the urge to do it.
But, I have a feeling it is connected with this thread.
Either way, Awesome!
