I do have the book. The correct number is 112.

While there are 109 numbered pages, there are unnumbered pages at the beginning book that represent pages 1-8. Then, there are 3 unnumbered pages after 109. The unnumbered pages have front matter, back matter, and design elements.

It is kind of odd that the front matter isn't using Roman numerals. Since they're numbering front matter with Arabic numerals, I believe makes sense to count the back matter as part of the 112.

Specifically, what do these 3 pages include?

112: an illustration by the writer/artist that does not appear in the rest of the book

If that illustration came just after the text, we could probably count it. But we definitely don't count lists of other books from the publisher, so 109 it is.
