This book was weird and not in the way I expected it to be weird. I just don't get Kafka ...

Everybody in this book either mysteriously loved Joseph K. or was mysteriously out to get Joseph K. There seemed to be no middle ground. I never knew what was going on, or why it was going on. I'm just completely baffled.

I'm definitely done with Kafka.

I actually liked this book, I gave it 4 stars when I read it. Sorry you didn't like it.

I love your description - weird but not the way you expected
I haven’t read The Trial, but read his book The Castle, which was wired but not in the way I expected
(But i loved it very much)

He is very strange isn’t he... young Kafka

I gave it three stars, but didn't really enjoy reading it. I did appreciate some of the social commentary (at least as I perceived it).
