If I made any I dont remember what they were. LOL

Did not make any.
Monday, Aug 27: Have you ever been the recipient - or the giver - of a random act of kindness? Tell us about it.
My family was going to Seattle for the World's Fair in 1962. As we drove through Idaho my father noticed something wrong with the car. We stopped in a little town ... it was a Sunday and nothing was open. A teenager with a couple of younger children by her side was walking down the street and my parents asked her if she knew where there was a mechanic. She said her father could help us. He did ... in spades. He drove my father to another town where he could order the necessary part (and back again the next day to get the part). And that family took us in (Mom, Dad, two kids), and put us up for two days while we waited for the car to be fixed.

Thursday, Aug 30: Are you ready for back-to-school?
We don't have any children, but I'm going to volunteer at a local elementary school helping children who are behind grade in reading catch up. Won't start the tutoring until October, as the teachers want to evaluate the kids and form their relationships first.
I'm NOT ready for hearing the buses rumble past our house early in the morning.

Ready for school but not ready for summer to be over! Where did the time go?
