Dr.Chirag Jain | 2 comments hi My name is Dr. Chirag Jain.I am the author of the book What A comeback!I am a physician and practicing medicine since last 10 years .my journey into the field of mindfulness and then neuroscience and then interventions for children and college students is a big surprise for me as well as people who know me.

I believe with the world today is been dominated by technology and automation. The awareness of the chemical and structural changes becomes all the more important in today's fast paced world. The ability to slow down these process determines our ability to improved decision making.
My dream and vision is to make this science and interventions in emotional intelligence available to every child on the planet earth.I acme up with idea of writing the book as that would be the best way for me to reach people,i hope.Till now the journey as a n author has been fantastic as my book is top ranked in neuroscience, neuropsychology and popular neuropschology genre.
The idea of writing this book is a small step to making this world more tolerant, resilient and reach to millions of people with this mission.
I believe that if my intention is for a good cause like minded people will help me to achieve it.

A little about the book:
"Challenges are gifts that force us to search for a new center of gravity. Don't fight them. Just find a new way to stand."
― Oprah Winfrey

"There's nothing as exciting as a comeback - seeing someone with dreams, watching them fail, and then getting a second chance" -Rachel Griffiths

What a comeback! is an inspiring journey of 10 friends who go through torrid times in their lives.
The book gives us an insight into the functioning of the thought processes that govern our responses both in favorable and in tough times. The stories of Sam and his friends makes the readers realize that they too can be super heroes in their lives and they do not need to wait for a miracle, to come up with the right decisions in life.
The book is based on the laws of neuroplasticity which have been formulated based on neuroscience and the changes taking place in our brain. These laws were always existing in our lives but we never realized that these were making our thought process autonomous(without our conscious control). Its only when we realize their existence we can stop reacting and start responding to the most obnoxious and challenging situation in our life. Each and every story is about a common man and his everyday problems and his tirade against the uncertainties life presents us everyday. The author gives a journey into the brain of the characters and how the brain functions and overcomes difficult situations. The author has explained the neurological processes, the neurophysics behind the the challenging situations in their life and existence of mind and the brain as special entities .
The multi-factorial influence both from within and outside the brain makes the stories all the more thrilling giving a unique understanding to the complex mechanisms of neuroscience. The intention of writing the book is to leave the reader with a sense of hope and belief that a comeback is possible in their life at any stage, no matter what destiny presents us in our journey of life .

"No one has ever achieved great heights if they have not mastered the art of comeback."Dr.Chirag Jain

To persevere, I think, is important for everybody. Don't give up, don't give in. There's always an answer to everything.
-Louis Zamperini

Thanks for sharing and for putting your post in the correct place.

This is not the sort of book I generally feature on Brain Science, but it might be of interest to some listeners, so thank you for sharing.

Dr.Chirag Jain | 2 comments Thanks for allowing it here , I have tried to explain the neuroscience behind a comeback in the book. It is not a pure fiction book but will be a unique experience for the reader. I have many in the medical fraternity who have found the approach interesting. Kindly send me your email id. I will send a copy to you if you would like to review
