The Last Hope question

Tigerstar died first, then Firestar. And Tigerstar won't return. That is the good part.

Actually, Firestar died when a flaming tree fell on him right AFTER the fight with Tigerstar. That made me really mad, because although the flaming tree was sort of symbolic of FIREstar, he didn't died heroically and nobly as he would have wanted. It actually would have been better if he had died while killing Tigerstar. :'( I will miss him forever. *sobs*

Actually he died from wounds, Kate Cary said that Firestar was not killed by the burning tree, but instead died of his wounds from the battle. Dovewing only imagined she saw him get up and walk away, and the lightning striking the tree snapped her back into reality.
