1. What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
The Netherlands :)
2. Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I really want to finish Let It Snow. Especially with the heat wave here I need something to remind me of the wonderful magic that is the snow.
3. Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Delicious ice cold smoothies!
4. Tell us a little something about yourself!
- I love playing the piano but I never learned to read sheet music
- I'm a huge Marvel nerd
- Bounty chocolates are my life
- I'm one of the few lucky people who learned to make Argan oil. A technique passed through generations in Morocco. It has so many health benefits that it's also known as "the liquid gold" (yes I'm very proud of my heritage).
5. This is our VERY first Reverse Readathon! How does it feel in your time zone?
It begins at 2am in my time zone, which is not the best time to start anything other than dreaming. But that's just me lol.

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of myself haha.

Hour 1 (2am)
■

Hour 2 (3am)
■ Let It Snow - 26 pages
Hour 3 (4am)
■ Let It Snow - 40 pages
Hour 4 (5am)
■ Let It Snow - 17 pages - Finished
That was a pretty fun read! The book was fast-paced but I read sooo slow. I really need to sleep now!
Hour 5 - 8 = Sleep
Hour 9 (10am)
■

Hour 10 - 12 = Life
Hour 13 (2pm)
■

Hour 14 (3pm)
■ To All the Boys I've Loved Before - 55 pages
Hour 15 (4pm)
■ To All the Boys I've Loved Before - 31 pages
Hour 16 - 21 = Life
Hour 22 (11pm)
■

Hour 23 - 24 = Sleep
Total: 506 pages

It was a cute book! Light and fluffy!
"5. This is our VERY first Reverse Readathon! How does it feel in your time zone?

Props to you for starting at your starting time, I was definitely snoozing at 2am my time. lol.

That is so cool!! Argan oil is awesome stuff, so useful and good for you inside and out. Do you cook with it too?
Good luck!

I really need more light and fluffy books! It’s too hot to focus on a fantasy lol. And recommendations?😁
Thank you! I had no distractions whatsoever so it was totally worth it haha.
No it shouldn’t really be used for high temperature cooking because it breaks down the important enzymes in the oil. I moslty use it for my salads and sometimes I’ll add a little to the rice. But I try not to use a lot because pure argan oil is pretty rare. If it weren’t for my mom who’s able to bring a little every year from her hometown, i’ll only be able to buy Argan that is diluted. After the hype started it’s legal to call it “pure” even if there’s only 10% Argan in it.

1. What are you reading right now?

2. How many books have you so far?
2:

3. Whatbook are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-Thon?
I want to read as much of To All the Boys I've Loved Before as possible. I’m a pretty slow reader so any progress would be great!
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
I’m pretty good at staying away from chatty people today so no distractions for me :D Reading while everyone was sleeping also helped a lot lol
5. What surprises you most about the Reverse Readathon so far?
That we have a wonderful community❤️

Thank you! (My TBR just doubled in size lol)

1. Which hour was most daunting for you?
When I remembered I had other responsibilities lol.
2. Tell us ALLLLL the books you read!

3. Which books would you recommend to other Read-a-thoners?
I really liked to read light past-paced books like Let it snow & To all the boys I've loved before. But I really wanted to take a break and read something else. So I would also recommend to read a comic book when you feel like that. Basically you should just read what makes you feel good. :) Like some people use readathons to start an intimidating book. That's also a great idea!
4. How did you feel about this first-ever Reverse Readathon? Should we do it again?
You should definitely do this again! It was so much fun!!
5. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? Would you be interested in volunteering to help organize and prep in October?
I'M IN!!!

Ahh so cute! I love hanging out with all the little kids in my family. They say and do the funniest things :')

Babysitting turned into a sleepover and I've been too tired to even pick up a book. I'm really sad I missed out on all the fun today but hopefully I can do this readathon (and bingo!) again soon when I'm free all day. Maybe I can even convince some people to join me lol.
