(( Before you post on a 'Place' discussion, you have to find someone willing to roleplay with you. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear in my earlier explanation. ))

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Again, I'm new.

((I'll rp with you.))

Meggie walked to the bridge as Nita was leaving. "Hi." She said to Scarlet.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "Hello," Scarlett said quietly, not used to people speaking to her.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "I-I'm Scarlett," she stammered.

message 157: by [deleted user] (new)

Meggie smiled at her. "What's your name?" She asked. She sat down on the edge of the bridge.

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

((Didnt see that))

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "Scarlett, and this is my cat, Storm." She pulled the part Kneazle Persian next to her, stroking his dark fur. "Yours?"

message 160: by [deleted user] (new)

"I dont really have one." Meggie said.

((If she did i forgot))

(( Also, when you're not talking in the roleplay, you use double parentheses. And try and refrain from posting roleplay twice in a row before the other person responds. I'm sorry if this comes off as rude or anything, I'm just trying to make sure you understand how it all works. ))

The Full Bookshelf Reviews ((Thank you.))

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Scarlett smiled at the girl. "What's your name?"

"Meggie." She said again.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews ((Sorry, Mapledream, I am TOTALLY new to this.))

"Nice name," she said. "I feel like mine's a little too bold. I'm not a very bold person."

message 169: by [deleted user] (new)

((It's perfectly fine. I was once new too ^.^*))

Meggie nodded it made sense. "What house are you in?" she asked.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Scarlett blushed. She hated this part. "Slytherin," she said hurriedly. "But I'm not very proud. I think it's because my mum and dad were Slytherins, and the hat didn't know what to do with me. I don't feel like I belong there, though."

message 171: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'm HufflePuff." Meggie said. "I wish I wasn't too. It always seems like we're picked on."

((She does have a pet. It's a frog named Slime. Pretend I said that in the posts above))

The Full Bookshelf Reviews ((Okay.))

"Well, I think you're lucky. Slytherins are always known to be sort of like... bad guys. And Voldemort was in my house." She felt scared as soon as she said it. Even though he was long gone, Voldemort's name still ran shivers up some people's spines.

message 173: by [deleted user] (new)

Meggie smiled. "Don't cha worry about it. People never seem to be happy with what they have." she observed. she sighed and looked up at the sky.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "So... What are you planning to do? After Hogwarts? Do you have plans for your life?" She looked at Storm, now sleeping. She thought if him as a docile baby dragon and smiled, envisioning it all.

message 175: by [deleted user] (new)

"Not really. I'm a fourth year and in my opinion I've got a while to go. I think I'd want to be a teacher maybe. A herbology one." Meggie replied. "You?"

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "I want to work with dragons," she said immediately. "In Romania. To get away."

message 177: by [deleted user] (new)

Meggie nodded. "That sound really nice, but too much for me I believe." She commented. She looked up and saw a bird fly past overhead. If she was right it was a blue jay.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews "Yeah," she replied. "One time, I heard this girl, Rose Weasley, the Gryffindor, talking about her uncle. He works with dragons, and he has scars all over his arms from work. It's kind of intimidating for some people. But I can handle it, I think. Or maybe I'll teach Defense Against the Dark Arts." She caught sight of a bird Meggie was staring at. "That's a pretty bird," she said as she heard it chirp.

message 179: by [deleted user] (new)

Meggie nodded. "Blue jay." She said. "You cant really see the blue from down here, but from above you can.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Scarlett nodded and yawned. "I should go to bed," she said.

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

"Umm alright." Meggie said. She walked away.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Scarlett stood up, waved to Meggie, and left.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Hugo walked along the Stone bridge, staring at the water beneath him. He hoisted himself over the edge, rolled up the bottoms of his robes on his ankles, threw off his shoes, and stuck his toes in the water. He saw another figure toward the bridge. He wondered if that person would talk to him. He tried to think of something he could say.

message 184: by [deleted user] (new)

Paris saw the kid in the water and quirked an eyebrow. "I assume you know there is a bridge here for a reason," she hollered. Her voice was teasing. Then, remembering her courtesies, she added, "And hello, by the way. My name's Paris -- Paris Nigel. I'm a first year Hufflepuff. What about you?"

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Hugo forgot whatever he was going to say. "Hugo," he said in a tiny face that sounded sort of choked. "Gryffindor. First year." His ears went pink, a hereditary trait that occurred whenever he was nervous or embarrassed.

message 186: by [deleted user] (new)

Paris was mildly bemused by his blushing. "Your shoes will be annoying if you put your wet feet in them, you know. And if you don't they'll get so dirty the caretaker will be really sad about the outlawing of torture." She was curious what saying this would do even if she usually was a sweet girl.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews The pink spread from his ears to his entire face. "I'll carry them." He sounded like a squeaky toy.

message 188: by [deleted user] (new)

Paris giggled, thoroughly amused, but she decided that it would be prudent to take pity on the boy. "Okay. Your feet'll be dirty. I can't defend you from the caretaker." She smiled. "But, want a hand in at least trying to get your feet clean before you make the caretaker mad?"

The Full Bookshelf Reviews He cleared his throat, trying to stop whatever was making him feel so anxious. "Any help would be appreciated, yes."

message 190: by [deleted user] (new)

Paris grinned and nodded, walking over to meet him on the grass near the stream. "Okay, I think I have some like cloth or something in my pocket. Let's get over to the path first though," she instructed, biting her lip. She was not a troublemaker, so she was kind of going off of what her siblings said more than anything else.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Hugo clumsily climbed over the bridge, wetting the bottom of his robes with a splash by accident. "Shoot!" he yelled.

message 192: by [deleted user] (new)

Paris shook her head. "So you're clumsy, too. I wish you luck." She patter him on the shoulder in a "comforting" manner. It would probably only embarrass him more.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Sure enough, Hugo turned bright red again. "Can you, by chance, er, wring the water out of these?"

((Hugo seems like he would be so lovably awkward, so I have to write him that way.))

message 194: by [deleted user] (new)

((LOL Cool. I also read "Hugo turned bright green." ))

"Uhhh," Paris tried. She also tried to figure out how to do as he asked. She only got a few drops of water out with her attempt, nothing truly substantial. "Apparently not? Sorry."

The Full Bookshelf Reviews ((Green? I hate typos. And I have a love/hate relationship with autocorrect.))

"My mum would go crazy if she know I had gotten my robes wet. She told me she didn't want me getting into any trouble at all this year. What am I gonna do?"

message 196: by [deleted user] (new)

((I misread. And then figured out Hugo was not green))

message 197: by [deleted user] (new)

"Wait for the water to evaporate?" Paris asked, confused about how getting wet was particularly disastrous. Would Hugo be freaking out when it rained and water got all over him then?

The Full Bookshelf Reviews ((That's good. He probably shouldn't be green, unless this is an HP/Shrek crossover. That might actually be interesting, though.))

"Rose already gets into enough trouble, sneaking out with her boyfriend. Luckily for me I don't have a girl to get me in trouble." He realized that Paris was, in fact, a girl, and hoped he didn't offend her.

message 199: by [deleted user] (new)

((Or if he were a blushing Vulcan))

Paris had not gotten in trouble once in her life. Even Hufflepuff first years heard talk about Rose and Albus's antics. They were legendary, almost as much as the Weasley twins of old had been. Apparently, Rose and Albus were both serving punishment for having hidden in the Black Lake, and, with one of them having lost their wand, sneaking off campus to Diagon Alley to get a new wand. Really, it was a miracle neither had ever been expelled.

The Full Bookshelf Reviews Meanwhile, Hugo continued to stutter. "Er, you know I didn't mean... um... what I'm basically saying is that... you're a girl." He felt like he couldn't breathe, he was so embarrassed.
