Here we can talk all things hunger games!
What do you love? What do you hate?

Caitlin "Sparkie" (csparkiem) I think the series is amazing my only thought is that the last two books are so depressed and defeated while I understand this and understand it is a message because you never really recover you just move on. Any thoughts?

I agree.
I did feel really gloomy during the last book. I don't know, I just feel like things are never really resolved, and I don't understand how it could get better.

Kathryn | 2 comments I think Mockingjay did not quite meet my expectations. I liked the book but it was not nearly as engaging as the first two. Im interested to see what they will do with the next movie. maybe it wont be as gloomy as the book. Catching fire was my favorite out of the bunch could not put it down.

Sydney (syddoa) | 2 comments I wasn't really a fan of the series. I never felt that great a connection to Katnis or the main characters to be honest. I mean compared to books like the Divergent series or Vampire Academy I was fairly let down.
Opinions?

Christine | 33 comments I'll have to agree with Sydney on this one. I'm not a particularly big fan of The Hunger Games series either - but that might just be because I read it when I was younger. But I'm thinking of it giving it another try! I might be just a bit bitter about some of the castings for the movie.

I agree with Kathryn in that the last book was a tad disappointing... I wish the ending could've been a little bit more conclusive but otherwise it was a great trilogy
