SOLVED. Adult Sci Fi with female mc, opens with her arriving on another planet for some (mission??). [s]

Sci-fi HB book w/ female mc who has been kept alive 100s of years to fulfill various missions. She arrives on a new planet in the opening scenes. She remains young through this time and reflects on her family, who is long gone. After arriving, she crosses a large open city plaza, hoping not to be recognized as an outsider.

I believe she is looking for money and trying to get an ID to blend in. She ends up at some corporation who wants her help (of some sort). They may recognize who or what she is. She is unsure of the corp, but is being convinced by their offering to help her with whatever she needs.

She may be worried about a possible questionable past but seems not to be able to remember everything about her 100s of years existence and what all she may have done.

I got distracted at about this point- a few chapters in, perhaps, and never finished reading it. I can't think of any character names. This was published likely between 2008-2013. Desperate for help finding! Thanks for any help!
